Should football be banned because of an increased risk of severe concussions?
A concussion is a traumatic brain injury that alters the way your brain functions. Effects are usually temporary but can become permanent but can include headaches and problems with concentration, memory, balance and coordination. Even we know so much about this, why should we still let people play football? Is it safe? Do you think that they should check with doctors every month? Should there be a rule that you get a monthly check up for concussions?
No, a lot of sports are dangerous. I do think the game could and should be made a lot safer. I don't see the point of letting kids play anything except touch football until college. People with possible concussions should not be allowed to continue to play for the rest of the game and then later, should remain inactive until they are fully recovered and cleared by two head injury specialists. With team doctors on the payroll absolutely they should be checked out between games and also after injuries during practice.
Players who break the rules to do harm to other players (hitting while down, clotheslining, head-butting) should be kicked out without pay for a whole season regardless of their contract. The next time it happens they should be banned from playing professionally.
Accidents do happen but with all the cameras it is usually pretty clear when something is accidental and when something is malicious. When in doubt, they need to get a warning. A player with enough warnings would be treated like he crossed the line.
Even if they "recover" from the injury I'm sure they will go through other disorders and bad affects on their body and brain..
They can make changes to the game without banning it completely.
What sort of changes would that be? no tackling? I mean..it's a serious injury and it will increase the risk of so many other diseases and disorders in someone..
No, because there are other sports so much more dangerous. We haven't banned car racing though people watch out of the hope of watching a literal crash and burn or skydiving, where people periodically plummet to their deaths.

What did you have for breakfast today?Breakfast is an important meal to start the day and studies have shown that people who skip breakfast are likely to have problems with concentration, metabolism and weight. I had a sandwich with tea today.

The Iranian women's football/ soccer team has been forced to forfeit a qualifying match by FIFA. The reason? They were wearing hijabs, covering the hair and neck, which is banned by the organization.http://sports.yahoo.com/soccer/news;_yl … n-hijabrowMore coverage--see the picture...
