Do you agree with DOJ decision to scrub Islam reference from the 911 tape of Orlando shooter?
Here is news story that shocked me.
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/06/20/fb … olice.html
Since when did of Governement use censorship to shape public opinion?
What is wrong with the FBI and the DOJ? Are they not working for the American people?
Whatever happen to "justive is blind"?
This is another president Obama like censorship that puts Islam and its terrorists in a bad light. PC distorts reality, and so does this scrubbing. It is not the job of the DOJ to censor the raw data, unless it is a national security or secret. The events of the Orlando shooting should be accurate, and unless there is some reason, valid reason to withhold it from the public then it should be reported in its original form.
The 911 call by the Orlando Shooter needs to be verified for its veracity that it was indeed the shooter. Once that is done, then the public has the right to know the truth.
PC is un American and it should be confronted every time it rears its ugly divisive head. Next thing that you know is the DOJ will congratulate Hillary Clinton for saving taxpayer money by having her own private email server instead of burdening the people with paying for a government server, and personnel.
President Obama and his version of PC would have the DOJ looking for short, white, bald, fat people for blowing up a government building, even if eyewitnesses saw Tall, Dark Skinned, Bearded and full headed hair people.
The truth is the truth, but the PC wants to be the truth but it lacks full disclosure of the facts. It is like photo shopping a picture to make it more appealing to the person editing it. We the people need to see the Raw Picture not the artist rendition of it.
It appears the DOJ has backed down and have published the full transcript.
Jack Lee
And they should have done that in the first place.
seal of the Department of Justice: "Qui Pro Domina Justitia Sequitur;"
The problem is that no one really knows what that means when it is translated into English.
Since when is Islam nothing but terrorists? It doesn't matter who is holding the gun, a terrorists is a terrorists no matter what their faith is. Putting a label on their religion only creates and spreads hate.
It doesn't spread hate, it spreads truth. We don't say Terrorist Muslims, we say Muslim Terrorists. The former is false, but the latter is true. Not all terrorist may be Muslims, but there are Muslim Terrorists. And when we see one use the truth.
The only people saying what you claim is President Obama. No one else is blaming a whole religion for the acts of a few. However, not identifying the terrorists is part of the problem. BTW, just saying it does not make it true.
No, it is an effort to protect the image of Islam over reporting reality.
Unfortunately, this censorship is widespread.

Whenever a religious discussion is mooted, we invariably find that people completely veer off the point and turn it into a discussion about God's existence. It is always whether there is God or not. Always. Ad nauseam. It is boring and getting repetitive. And, frustrating, i can tell...
