   Interesting. He is a business man. All this traveling without sourcing out a business venture must be boring.  Mexico is one of his first orders of business, if he is elected. Like I said, "Interesting".

   I think this could be a benefit to Mr. Trump with the Hispanic community.  Especially since he and Peña Nieto have managed to get along well and agree on many things.  From what I've read there has been none of the negativity Trump literally spews on the stump.
   
   I think it is good to get along with one's neighbors as much as possible.  Perhaps Trump received new insights about the issue.  Personally, I think rather than building a wall that would cost the earth and take years to build, it would make more sense to use that money (Mexico's money according to Trump) to create jobs and more opportunity in Mexico.
   
   I understand that many people want to embrace refugees and others who only want to come here as most of our own ancestors did, to make a better life for themselves and their families.  The problem is that the entire world population, or even half of it, will not fit on the land area of the U.S.  At least not comfortably or conveniently.  Not even safely. 
   
   So to me it makes more sense to build up those countries that lack opportunities for their people to do well.  Build them up so that their people will want to stay and do well where they already are and where they are familiar.
   
   To me, it even makes more sense for the U.S. to invest in other countries rather than moving hundreds of thousands of their population to this country.  It is simply not feasible for all humans to live here in this one country, and it seems idiotic that opportunity cannot be created in other countries as well as it is here.
   
   As other countries are built up and become fiscally stable, they will start creating their own jobs and opportunities keeping their population at home (except for touristing) and raising their incomes to levels equivalent to our own, thus making it less desirable for our companies to go to other countries for lower wage workers.
   
   When the standard of living is equivalent in all other countries it will no longer make sense to move our jobs out of this country because it will cost essentially the same, or possibly even more, to employ people in a thriving economy elsewhere.
   
   Sorry to get off subject. To wrap it up, I've read that Trump's acceptance of Neito's invitation has angered some people, but I think overall he has improved his image to the voters.  Especially Hispanic voters who before wouldn't give him the time of day.  Now, I think they may consider voting for him -- so long as he doesn't undo his progress by mouthing off as usual.

      Sorry to report that Trump squandered any good will he may have achieved yesterday in Mexico.  The Mexican citizens are spitting angry at him now.  That mouth of his undermines everything he does.

   There is a really cool word in Spanish; Esperanza. It is most notably from Castilian Spanish a ladies name. And this name carries with it the notion of a beautiful seductress and charming compatible woman. If you know Mexico you could see it as referencing the feminine wonder of the nation. But the name along with another translation and usage basically means the idea of a dream and hope.
   It is fairly obvious that the American dream to most impoverished Mexicans is just that -- a dream and a hope, not really based in a reality. Just take my word for it if you will. One can rise and create a better life for themselves in Mexico. It is not a caste system. Hard work and sweat and dedication to a goal will get you ahead in Mexico. I personally know some who have raised themselves up from nothing to wealth.
   So we ask ourselves why "flee" to the US? The dream is alive in Mexico. Why come illegally across the border to find it here? Even their constitution is based on ours. And they are more socialistic by far. The real name of Mexico is "The United States of Mexico".
   The cessation of the fallacy of the promised land compared to their own must be accomplished. Meetings between leaders of our great nations can do much toward a better understanding. We are North Americans and we both belong to a United States.
   Could it be that illegal immigrants from Mexico are looking for a dream that will come easier here than in Mexico. If so we are not looking at the highest quality of workers and people. We like to say that no matter where you go -- there you are. People looking for the easy way out are not the same kind of immigrants that built this country.
   Perhaps Trump just took a small ride for him but a large one for North America.

   I think that it is something that should have been done decades ago. Neither Hillary or Bill Clinton while in office did anything to protect the US border. Protecting the border is much more than keeping illegal immigrants out. It is protecting the US and the people from crime. The drug cartel sends illegal and dangerous drugs over the porous border to the tune of more than a billion dollars. This is then consumed by the US drugees and this in turn causes them to be addicts, and even criminals to sustain their desire for these drugs. They wind up in hospitals, and other facilities that drain our resources. Many commit suicide.
   In addition, the drug cartel engages in human trafficking, and weapons smuggling.
   
   The democrats look at illegal immigrants as democrat voters, and because we don't enforce, or even have voter IDs, who really knows how many of them are voting in our election.
   
   The bottom line is that neither democrat or republican politicians have done anything on immigration. Instead, they want to bring in unvetted immigrants from terrorist controlled regions in the world.
   
   Mexico is not our friendly neighbor, they are run by the drug cartel that corrupts Mexico.
   
   We have 2 problems here, one is the professional politician, and the other is the drug users that are the customers of the drug cartel.
   
   The professional politicians have not been effective in getting control of either the protection of the border, or the drug problem, legal and illegal. Trump is not yet a politician, and while politicians have to worry about being blamed for the problem, Trump can do whatever it takes to fix the problems.

   It made him look very Presidential, and Hillary Clinton's subsequent "oh, yes, I've now scheduled a meeting with the Mexican President" is makes her look like a "me, too!" reaction.
   The fact that he showed up with aid to the Louisiana floods when Clinton couldn't bother to do more than call Louisiana's governor and Obama wouldn't interrupt his vacation but his staff sent a "don't discriminate in distribution of aid" memo makes him look FAR better.

      What is the point of Clinton, Trump, or Obama showing up at these floods?  All their entourage, secret service, etc.,  just gets in the way of the people trying to clean up the mess and make things better ASAP.

      No CE that is not a universally accepted truth. People working their butts off appreciate some inspiration and notice. People do not run like machines. Every good CEO or Department head includes inspirational stuff in their tool box of motivation.
