From Experts Point of View, Is 30-day Hub Challenge still works?

Now that I don't have a day job anymore, most of the tasks are delegated to my VA, so I got room to write all day. Writing quality post would not matter to me, but I wanna know if this still a good practice? I know, I'm already 4yrs old here, but still..

The 30-day Hub Challenge went to the wayside a few years ago. It does not fit the strategy today for HubPages and emphasis on Google's criteria for success as a business enterprise.

      What does that mean?

The emphasis is quality rather than quantity. The 30-day challenge was centered on quantity seeking view count. The strategy today is the 'New' niche sites as a business enterprise. We are shown that with the many Hubber awards for those sites.

If writing quality posts would not matter to you, then writing even one hub in 30 days is a waste of time. I would say, based on the wording of this question, that your time would be better spent working on your grammar skills.

Posting in forums, question boards, email or texts are always not the same when I write an article. I would not mind correcting any grammar or typo errors, but It's a different story if I write and put my focus on writing an article.

Back in 2013 I set a goal to write 30 hubs in a month.  I set up a forum for this personal challenge and where others could add their own.  There were some people who posted negative replies saying that writing 30 hubs would be impossible. (Note:  As far as I know this challenge does not exist anymore in Hub Pages).  Well in my days off I normally write 2000 to 4000 words and I completed that challenge.  Maybe about 5 of them did not pass muster and were not featured.

How did it go though?... I mean, seeing there were negative replies.

I kept at it to make a point.  But one of the people saw that I was putting out good hubs and did encourage me more a misunderstanding in my forum post.  It depends if you know what you want to write about.
