Fake News. Is FB really a news source? Are people still just gobbling up what they hear?
I am seeing people respond to cropped photos with "shocker Statements" as though they are real. Even the fake news is reporting on fake news. How are these people going into arguments citing the likes of FB as proof? I have been paying attention and they really are. If they read on FB that our President chopped off heads they would believe it. Can you be "criminally stupid"?
Yes, people are still just gobbling up what they hear! It blows me out the door to see what people believe. Some of my most "intelligent" friends are scooping up this fake news and sharing it like it's penny candy. Some of this stuff is obviously fake and can easily be verified by visiting an official government site... or just by using common sense. It has gotten so out of hand that I think there should be some kind of penalty for publishing fake news. Some of this news is very harmful. I no longer trust anything I read or hear anymore.
Hi Marlene it is awesome to hear from you. I hope all is well and I definitely need a quick update on this whole real estate interest deal, please do tell.
I go to sources now. I am old with really accomplished older children. They give me the scoop.
Hello Eric, it is always good to hear from you. Regarding interest rates, to be perfectly honest, it's anybody's guess. It always has been. After 28 years in the business I've learned to just work with what's happening at the moment in time.
People have always had a tendency to believe what appears in the Media. This believing is whether the information is right or wrong. In days past we did not have as wide a spread of Information as we now have to-day. It is a job for wide spread education on how to discern what is right or wrong in so called media news, regardless of "Venue". This, most likely, would not work. People hate to give up their long held quirks.

We live in a time when anyone can post anything online and claim it is true. Why is banning fake news bad? What about The Onion? Or The Daily Show? Are we going to ban sarcasm as in North Korea? Isn't political sarcasm one of the foundations of US? Satire and parody are important forms of political commentary that rely on blurring the line between truth and outrageousness....
