How many people marched in the March for Life event in Washington DC?
There were a large crowd yesterday at this event. Did you read or hear about this on TV news?
Compare this to the Women's protest march last week? How was that covered?
The media bias is so apparent.
I Googled, and found stories about the 2017 march in the LA Times, Washington Post, USA Today and the Chicago Tribune. There was also local coverage of the smaller marches around the country.
The March for Life is an annual event. It's been going on since 1974. Many news outlets may feel as though they've "been there, done that" in terms of coverage.
Also, the size of the march has been declining in recent years. The best estimate of the size of this year's march I could find was "tens of thousands", which made it pale in comparison with the Women's March that took place before it.
What source did you read? I got estimate of 400,000.
There don't seem to be any sites giving those kinds of numbers, or any definite numbers at all. It looks like it was a large march, but not on the scale of the Women's March the day before. Even the MFL FB page doesn't have numbers posted.
