Why do the Democrats put foreigners ahead of citizens rights?

Protests over the Trump immigration pause have been championed by the democratic leadership.  They demand we allow refugees, illegal aliens, and non vetted foreigners be allowed free reign in our nation.  Why?  When Obama and every other president did it no one said a thing.  Our sovereignty is at stake and Trump cares about OUR people.

Because they see the perceived underdog as morally superior to others. Thus the illegal alien receives more sympathy and moral weight than the unemployed American, the foreign refugees over the crumpling native born in the inner cities.
They quote the Bible, but ignore the mandate to take care of the poor within your own gates first.

They also want to "take care" of refugees while we have homeless, unemployed and disabled soldiers living on the streets and in unsafe situations. Let's take care of our own first.

Every time I read about Muslim refugees, my thoughts are of the dead vets not cared for by the VA, the DACA/dreamers the US took in by the hundreds of thousands in two years, and we get no credit for the ones we took in or natives not cared for.

Greg and Tamara, it seems like most people seem to forget our own fallen.

They are the future loyal democrat voters, and the democrats will keep them clothed and fed as indentured servants of the democrat party. To keep the democrat generated freebies and welfare going, these foreigners will some day attain the right to vote, at least their children born here will. They will then as the Pavlov dogs responding to the bell, will vote Democrat. They will vote democrat No matter who is the candidate.

That is why the minorities that have been on the democrat trough are still on it. They have been given fish, but they were never taught or had to learn on how to fish.

Contrast the Blacks and Hispanics that have been in the country for hundreds of years, with the Asians that are more recent immigrants to the country. The difference is that they don't like it on welfare. They are business or career oriented. Think about that.

Obama has deported more illegal immigrants than any other U.S. president, and all presidents combined. He just did it without letting the general populace know, the sneaky way. Trump, on the other hand, is very transparent. So to answer your question, the reason they are up in arms over Trump's decision is because they are hypocrites---which is standard fare for Left. If they do it, no problem, but if Republicans do it, big problem---or so goes their thinking.
So to answer your question, they only put foreigners ahead of Americans when the cameras are running or when they can pander to their constituents and make Republicans look bad. That being said, the Left's caring is in word only.

In fact, in 2015 Schumer was for these same security measures, as well as most of the Obama intelligence agencies. Saying we don't have presence on the ground to have the information necessary to properly vet them.

Schumer is an SOB (pardon my French). His loyalty is to himself. Just one more career politician who's words and tears mean nothing. I am sick and tired of their pandering and their hypocrisy.

I agree, and creating an old folk home in congress hasn't been good for America or Americans.

I seriously hope President Trump moves forward with term limits - it's long overdue.  I think his Supreme Court pick was great last evening, and should help get everyone back to following the Constitution once again.

We will see about term limits. The crazies are already attacking Gorsuch and spewing outright lies, but what else is new.
