   Since when is protecting the country UnAmerican? What is the basis of your assertion and considering you are neither in America or even an American citizen what do you know about it? Just a ?

      Considering the fact that he's restricticting nationalities over  America, it made us think how america is considered the land of opportunities since the ban is just for terrorism not for innocent refugees who's just taking the chance to stay alive.

      What fact? He is trying to filter the terrorists from the refugees, and it is a TEMPORARY BAN, 90 days. People wait years to come into the US legally and not be put in front of the line like the "Refugees" And it is a privilege NOT a right.

      Uhmar, the US immigration policy is embedded in the existing immigration laws. These laws have prevented many legal immigrants from coming into the US because of country quotas. And I don't think you understand it and the connection to Trump's EO.

   Franklin Delano Roosevelt ended citizenship hearings for Japanese, Italian and German residents and their immigration during World War 2. He detained many Japanese and took steps to limit the ability of many in these groups to own radios and cameras.
   During the 1970s, Carter suspended travel for Iranians, many of whom were coming over as students, in response to the terrorist attacks by Iran's then new mullahs.
   President Obama suspended Iraqi refugee relocation in 2011 for six months when it was realized we'd let in several Iraqis with ties to terrorism, several of whom the FBI and CIA caught while planning terrorist acts.
   There is a long history of banning travel by people at war with a nation in and out of a country for the safety of the residents. And when you combine this with the fact that we've had eight terrorist attacks by Muslim migrants we couldn't vet for ties to terrorism (Boston Bombers, San Bernadino shooters, OSU attacker among others), it is completely reasonable to say no one comes in from X nations until we can tell the would be murderers from the refugees.
   One group's desire for a higher quality of life cannot come at the risk of the lives of their would be hosts.

      Tamara it took 60 years for the US to apologize for FDR. As many of those put in the camps were American Citizens, but today foreigners have more rights than those Japanese Americans. As you have pointed out we have already let in terrorists.

   I didn't know this but recently found out that this limiting of immigrants have gone on for a long time-each president has or had a policy of how many immigrants from each country can come in.
   
   I have no problem with this travel ban-but I thought I heard that got over turned-since he has the protection of American Citizens at heart.  911 will always be in my mind where I watched on TV where the Twin Towers collapsed.  I will never forget the image shown of TV as one of the victims fell to her death.  I will never forget the fear I felt when I had no word from my brother-in-law who is a (retired) NYC firefighter.  My husband was still in the military at that time.  His unit got activated and ever since he has been a changed man.  He and many people have PTSD from that.
   
   So no this ban is not un-American at all.
   
   They need to get this ban in place until a system is in place to keep the terrorist and drug smugglers out.

      His ban has not been over-turned, it has been stayed, paused if you will, while certain judges in the courts abuse their positions and authority to counter the President's lawful, constitutional authority to do what he did... its a political ploy.

   How is it un-Constitutional?
   
   Is a 90 day travel ban un-American?  Is it un-Constitutional?
   
   Please explain how this is, what merits, what foundation supports this statement?
   
   I will assume momentarily that being anti-Islam is what is being referred to, if so, what do you know of that religion, it's worldly leaders, what they espouse, and what their plans are for America?
   
   For instance, and just as an example, do you know who Prince Alwaleed bin Talal is, and what his intentions are?  Do you know who Ayatollah Khalkali is and what his beliefs are?  The goals of ISIS perhaps?  The goals of the Muslim Brotherhood?
   
   In order to be able to properly answer a query, I need to know why you think the ban is 'unamerican' and what you are basing your beliefs off of.
