How at risk is the United States with Donald Trump as our president?

People are saying that our country is going to fall apart with Donald Trump as our commander in chief. Can he really be that bad?

So what do we think two years later?  IMO - Trump as done great damage to America and is a risk to National Security every day he is in office.

    Yeah he's that bad.....
There are now several wars brewing specifically due to Donald's ideas.
Currently several GOPs consider him mentally unstable.
Mental instability + world leader=  nuclear war

Mentally unstable because he does not talk or act like the entrenched political class in Washington? That's the kind of mental instability that the rest of America voted for, so you might as well  enjoy the ride towards "making America Great again."

Alexander, good points. Oz you have no foundation, you are just hurling insults, and name calling. He is not Old nest GOP and they dn like him because he will force them to work for the country instead of the party.

yes, hes dangerous. hes working for vladimir putin. if anyone believes he didnt order flynn to tell the russiam ambassador:"eh, dont worry about those sanctions. we'll take care of you once we get in"--i'll sell you christies bridge. now it turns out usag wanted to bring up to wh about flynn months before, and who stopped her? comey! cause he was supposedly investigating russian interference in our election...suuuuuuure he was. comey was part of the new york clinton haters cell in the fbi! this adm is criminal, and just letting them resign is a joke. hey king tubby-- you're arresting moms and kids of mexican heritage....but you let a conspirer get away scott free!! real law n order tuff guy, huh? nope, its back to bush justice. i/e just-us.
get him out of there before he, putin and netanyahu really go ham!!!

The above discombobulated rant is so typical of the liberal MTM which we hardly heard being directed at the last president. Nothing new there. What's new about Donald Trump?... nothing except that he is now the POTUS leaving the MSM  to eat crow.

Alexander, Can you believe they can say that about Trump, but not about HRC or Obama. HRC sold a lot of Uranium to the Russians, no one cared. But a phone call to Russians that was cleared by the FBI as OK is a big deal. They can believe Trump won

what phone call are you talking about? there were many. and too bad for ya boy, but they were all recorded. or do you suppose flynn was actually wishing him merry xmas 2weeks early? you are supporting organized crime, and an enemy of freedom.i object

The things he says aren't that bad. It's when people report on what he says that it gets stirred up and blown up into these odd proportions. He's basically doing everything that the political right has been talking about for years. But once he actually does what they've only talked about, the Right panics and shows that none of these Republicans ever really wanted border walls, banned immigrations, environmental deregulation, etc. He's called them out on it and a lot of Republicans and Democrats more than ever look like two sports teams with the same core principles. The president is not a Republican or a Democrat and what he's doing might be pure genius or pure accident.

I don't think he's crazy. He's just not used to having to explain himself and he refuses to. I do think that he has some self-image issues and it's his weakness (it was Nixon's too and the two have some things in common). And he doesn't get enough sleep.

Old-Empressario, I agree. People keep talking about what he says, but they should be talking about what he does. And they are things he promised he would do,his supporters are very happy. The others both parties just talked but no action.

The people that are saying bad things about president Donald Trump are on CNN, MSNBC, domestic terrorists/protesters, liberals and many democrats that can't believe that Hillary Clinton lost their election. They would rather have the country fail

not really. would rather not have the usa run from the kremlin. or from the knesset, for that matter. want usa to be for usa. i know thats a lot to ask, given the biz arrangements around the world...too bad!

Not sure why all the concern, actually he seems to be doing more than prior Presidents in their first weeks. He meets daily with world leaders,  is progressing nicely with his plans to keep jobs here in America, he has plans being drawn up for the Wall, and he did take steps to momentarily Ban immigrants from 6  nations that are known to be "hot beds" for terrorists. Although stands now in limbo until it is most likely heard in the Supreme Court. He has started to deport illegals that are on welfare, and has shored up the boarder as well as he could for now...  He has met with a wide variety of  groups, such as religious, military, and women's groups. He has met with most all of the CEO's of the auto industry, and not to mention the heads of the biggest Tech firms in the world. He gives a weekly report on Saturday mornings to American's via his Facebook. Need I go on, because I actually could. Too bad not more American;s do their homework, and realize, President Trump is keeping campaign promises at the promised speed. Even up against a vengeful bias media, that insult his wife, his children, and just about anyone he is acquainted with. He is called vulgar names, by not only citizens, but also the media.

So, are we at risk? I would say the only thing we are at risk of is a propaganda machine, which is made up of bias media, and Washington politicians that do not want a better America. An America they can't control...  I want an America that is safe, where laws are followed, and we encourage all to get along... Not pit one against the other to keep the upper hand. President Trump offers change, and he offers us all a voice, a voice that has been silenced...

Great comment...sadly I think he underestimated the corruption, collusion, and criminality of those in control of D.C.  'draining the swamp' is difficult when you are neck deep in the middle of it.

No, it isn't. It is a continuation of the liberal narrative that people had to vote Democrat not because Clinton was a good candidate or had any good new policies but because Trump was evil incarnate. Not true, but they won't let go of the narrative because it justifies violence.

Donald J. Trump is completely and totally out of control, and absolutely unfit to be president of a country.  He's too dangerous and unstable, and would be even more likely to get us into a war.  If Michael Flynn's resignation is the beginning of the end of Donald Trump's Presidency, then maybe another Presidential Election should be held here in the United States.
