   Is it fair and correct to be deleting answers/comments and blocking people?
   
   Have you ever felt like the government doesn't really care what you think? Do you really believe that Congress cares what you think?
   
   Morley visited her congressman’s Facebook page & posted; “Your vote yesterday was unthinkably irresponsible and does not begin to account for the thousands of constituents in your district who rely upon many of the services and provisions provided for them by the ACA,”
   
   The next day, her comment was deleted and she was blocked.
   
   Isn't this how revolutions become more likely when people are unable to govern themselves with representation?

   What is your point. The example that you give doesn't help. First, a single person cannot claim to represent more than themselves.
   
   There were no specifics in her comment, and it was just a whine. She can seek her retribution by not reelecting him, that is the American Way.

      That's the problem Brad, this isn't a game - winning  is not the point, gaining knowledge and understanding is.  That takes discussing things and questioning paradigms.

   I am concerned by the reported actions taken by staff of her congressional representative.  At least they took some action (which is too rare) though the actions seem regrettable in a case where opinions matter.  Do us the favor of saying which congressional staff took these actions, and let's query the staff as to why.  More specifics will eliminate what appears to be too broad a brush.

      Query to ask why? It's obviously because they don't like negative posts.  Censorship is here on HP also.

   There is more to democracy then just voting.  If that's all you do then you are not doing enough. Citizens need to be constantly be hyper-vigilent to defend themselves against the oppressive Gov't.
   
   Why complain? 3x reasons;
   
   (1) The joy of speaking out against something you judge to be wrong
   (2) the joy of possibly finding a community which shares your judgment
   (3) the possibility that like-minded people will find each other and act in concert to make changes.
   
   Because it was taken down & poster blocked shows serious lack of concern for a  so-called & self described 'servant' of the people.
   
   It is one of our rights as Americans to voice our disapproval of our government and the manner in which issues are handled in government. But if we complain only to those who will listen but have no power to make changes, we are wasting our voices. That is why it is important to contact those who work for us in Washington. That is also true on the state level. - mobridgetribune

      Whining, deflecting, supporting the left biased media, the embedded exec br Obama appointees that leak classified info. This goes beyond disagreement, these are actions supporting taking down a sitting pres because the left lost the election!

      Prayers work more miracles than anger and hatred.  It is my belief that right will always triumph in the end.  May God's will be done, just as it surely will be.  (A little religious note on a Sunday)
