    If you look at the hp forum metrics how is it any more active than the now defunct questions section

    ? If you objectively look at the views and the comments stats on either the questions, or the forums, you would have to conclude that as far as active members, there can't be anymore than a couple of hundred.

    How can that be?
    I would suggest that the hp audience should be in the thousands, and even tens or hundreds of thousands, but the metrics don't agree with that suggestion.

    This is not new it has been happening for a long time.
    Article section is not doing much better, in part because people don't see the return on their time in creating it.

    I just looked at the Forum Political and Social Category.
    There were 23 forums in the last 24 hours. How is that any different than the pathetic numbers in the same time period for the same category.

    There couldn't be more than 100 or so active members on hubpages. Where is the volume, much less the quality.
