my favorite vegetable would probably be tomatoes, even though they are not vegetables but fruit, but i consider them vegetables because they are savory and not sweet. i like tomatoes because they are versatile and can be served raw (sliced with a little salt), cooked into sauces or to liven up a salad or sandwich. yellow and red grape tomatoes can be sauteed in olive oil and baked in the oven and served with pasta for a pretty, easy and tasty dish.

my favorite fruit is the apple, especially Pink Lady apples. i eat one a day. sometimes two.

Favourite veg: runner beans.  Followed closely by asparagus, courgettes (zucchini), spinach, wild rocket, spring onions, leeks, chard and peas.  Cauliflower, broccoli and cabbage can be nice too, as long as they're not overcooked.

Favourite fruit: raspberries, strawberries, plums, peaches, apples (Egremont Russet are my fave - they look horrible and brown but taste great), blackberries, rhubarb and gooseberries (stewed).

Forgot to add: artichokes (globe and Jerusalem).  OK, that's enough vegetables from me I think.
