Depending on the definition you choose and on your experience, you may well have every right to claim to be enlightened. If going by the Eastern or Western esoteric definition, my guess is that many people who have had such an experience hide the fact within the depths of their soul. Unless it is paired with the inspiration and appropriate skills to teach others, it should remain essentially a private matter.

I didn't get one thing why a skeptical person should get back to religion and write a poetry ?

Why in the wildest wet dreams one should do that ? Just cause Mohit said so ? Or is it going to prove anything ? I mean i write on social stuff and if i unable to write on forex then that makes guy who writes about forex superior writer ? How rational ? Definitely wanna-be religious/spiritual logic behind this

FALL FROM GRACE by Tantrum

Free fall...Entangled wings.
Nothing more frightful than this.
Dark spaces surrounding the Abyss.

For falling from grace fear brings.
eyes blind to the light. Hearts in tears.
The crying of souls full of fears.

Where has gone all the bliss ?
Where the wonderful things
untouched by the horrors of sins?

They fall in Chaotic despair.
The bodies unveiled disappear,
While anguish their bosoms stings.

And a bonus

APOCALYPSE by Tantrum

Four horses,
riding across Time and Space,
on a race
for the first place.
Angels on horseback, flying,
their wings spread
over the death bed
of the Inspiring.
One man lifts up his head...
Prophetic threats,
given to Mankind.
Satan's satisfied eyes,
hovering among the lies
of the blind ones.
And all this turmoil moves
the earth under the feet
of Saints looking for proofs.
While the entire Universe,
Blindfold, traverses
the portals
of Emptiness.

You claim to be enlightened, yet you run your mouth a mile a minute when any rational person would have left it alone, but you want my attention, you now have YET again.

You're a fake, a bully, and your talk is just that talk.

Your arrogance is distasteful and not a single word that comes from your mouth as any kind of wisdom.

Your faith in yourself is all you have. You have no proof "GOD" exists, as your words hold no real meaning.

tantrum, I really liked your poems. Very good and I could relate to them easily through life experiences. You certainly pass a good space, and as such I could relate 'spiritually' to them. I've written 3 poems, 2 were because of experiences through spiritual practices. The other was in regard to thoughts and their effects, it was pre-empted by a song I'd heard. I don't wish to place them here, they have been up on the poetry section for ages.

  Thank you for the compliment. Tangibility is not only by feel, ie sensitive touch. Vision comes in many forms. For something to be substantial it becomes known. Thoughts for example are a tangible substance. One who can quieten the mind and watch thoughts, the substance of thoughts are felt as touching the life force. It is the interface between our life force, or etheric body, and the Astral body, or mind and emotions. It's very tangible once you can surf the interface.
  
  The soul - it is that which is the Astral body. It is the entire circus that animates humans, ie personality/character traits. The soul consists of higher and lower aspects, ie that which is transformed and that which is not. The language of astrology deals entirely with the Soul and the energetic aspects of astrality.
  
  The state of Self (capital S) is void of the soul. It is that which is achieved by transcending the pulls of astrality. The Soul is often confused with the spirit. It's not the same thing.
  
  When a person does allot of inner work and becomes conscious of their characters and personality traits, the Soul becomes tangible. It's the knowing of the self (small s) which then helps to become free of it and attain the ability to know Self (capital S).
  
  Consciousness takes on many forms and to say these two aspects of consciousness are not tangible is not correct.
  
  Back to thoughts as being tangible. Because I am very sensitive to life force, qi, or the etheric, there is a very tangible sensation that occurs when thoughts (a 'non-physica'l element being astrality) touches the etheric. But many gurus will be familiar with this as they master the discipline of watching thoughts and quietening the mind.

  Here tangible is being used in the scientific term where you cannot show your soul to any one else.
  
  They cannot touch or see it and I am not talking spiritually.
  
  Soul and spirit are just words used and they can mean the same thing.
  
  Some philosophies distinguish between the soul and super soul or great spirit or holy spirit, atma and param atma.
  
  Then some philosophies have no distinguishing aspect between the two, where by spirit it the general term used.
  
  Both being correct.

  I don't consider myself to be Buddhist but I agree with many Buddhist teachings on reincarnation, impermanence, dependent origination and compassion. because I find them to be in accord with observations and experiences from my own reality.
  
  I am constantly working to really see these ideas at play in my daily life and to act accordingly. I wouldn't say my religious beliefs CONTROL my subconscious thoughts but I strive to always operate from a place of equanimity and empathy. To do so, I find it necessary to always keep in the back of my mind the larger framework of things, the brevity of life as we know it, and where "I" will go after death.

First off I want to make something clear,
I AM NOT Religious. I am a Christian. There IS a difference.
The word Christian was first "coined" in Antioch as meaning follower of Christ. That is what I am. I have believed and given my soul over to God. I will go to Heaven. Something happened when I called on Him. I did change and I have a clearer understanding of the things around me that I never had before. That's why it saddens me so to see all the horrible posts condeming me and others for having the faith we do in something so obvious. Just look around at the peoples, the planet and our own bodies do you really think it all just appeared and happened to be in sinc with everything else? If you don't believe then fine. it's your choice I won't condem you or push my belief down your throat. God gave us His word and free will do what we want with it. I chose to believe and would like to share that belief with other Christians on here but I'm so sick of the nastiness on this forum. Yes I could stay away but I too have the right to come on here and be able to visit with other Christians and share without the belittleing and some of the other nasty comments that have been made. Yes I know the first amendment but you know what, if you disagree and want to make a comment as to why you may not believe in this or that and want to have a civil thread I'd love that. But from what I have been noticing is this forum being used to rip people apart. Come on people. play nice.
We are all hubbers from all walks of life all over the world. Why can't we just ENJOY each other and the difrerences we all bring to Hub pages?

Oh and ........

Religious means what you do for example rolling around on the floor mumbling gibberish, eating a cookie god, sprinkling yourself etc. RELIGION IS WORKS

God Knows I've been insulted too for much more than my beliefs through out life but the attacks I've seen on here just are not necessary.   Life is great, always has been for me. I have had cancer, injuries, illness, defeats and hard times just like everyone else, but to me life is still wonderful.
  I am not about to become religious to "improve" my life. life is fine the way it is.
  When I die I expect nothing to continue.
  I have been "dead" a couple of times.
  Dead enough to see the "light" and to leave my body to escape extreme physical pain.
  The "light" by the way is simply a result of a lack of oxygen to the brain.
