No birth control for Africa? This is just sad and it makes me really embarrassed and I absolutely cannot wait for the next election. This fool has to go.

After 3 days with no replies in the Politics section, perhaps Religion would be the better choice.

Um, isn't it the job of African nations to provide that service, not the Canadian government?  I know it's not the case, but such a stance could be seen as racist.  I mean it looks kind of bad to be giving Africans birth control.  I mean, African nations need the population in order to run their farms, seeing as most of them still subsistence farm.

Wouldn't a better policy be to encourage the education of the African peoples and encourage them to industrialize.  It's already been shown that in industrial nations that families are smaller.  Plus you'd get the benefit of bettering the lives of the average African.  Thus killing multiple birds with one stone.

You know that I spent several years in MA.  My middle school and first two years of high school.  About the only thing they did get right was sex ed.  Unlike Missouri, my classmates in MA had far fewer pregnancies our senior year.  I'm all for sex ed, but I'm also for letting people lie in the bed they made.

Not too far away from me  Fall River.

My health class taught everything we needed to know about sex drugs and hygeine.

There were still quite a few pregnencies in my senior class.

They actually had day care and child raising classes in high school.  The moms brought their babies to school with them.  This was in the early 80's
