            That is true - I read and speak Greek a little better.
            
            Mind you, I have been sat indoors for the past few months, finishing off a few projects, so I am very out of practice. Hopefully, it will come back once I get out and about.
            
            It is a very difficult language

               I read it better..Speak/understand it spoken..the best.
               
               Translate and write it last and least.
               At least we didn't write it in the Greek alphabet...
               
               I have a hard time with dialect too.

                  I actually find it easier to read and write Greek using the Greek alphabet, although it is still difficult.
                  
                  mtsi: I am sure that it would all come back if you stayed here a while. I have a lot of Australian and Canadian Greek friends who soon relearned it

                     I use to. I studied a little a long time ago but I am very rusty in it. I grew up with Greeks around me and learned by just listening and observing.
                     I don't have a way to type Greek either.
                     
                     I speak as much Hebrew as I do Greek.

                        My knowledge of Hebrew is non-existent!
                        
                        I also learn from listening. I did teach myself a little from books, but the Spartans speak a completely different dialect.
                        
                        As my Greek friend is fond of saying: Even the Greeks don't speak Greek.
                        
                        I have a Greek keyboard on my notebook, but not this laptop, which I brought over from England
