NBA 2K16 1 day old review

Updated on September 27, 2015

Wtf is this???? No seriously wtf is the point of this!

When 2K16 came on I thought I accidently bought the latest NBA streets that just came out that nobody knew about. I had to look at the case twice. Wtf is this? Why is Stephen Curry, James harden, and AD evil? Why is Jordan here!? WTF IS THIS?

Gameplay has to grow on me

1 day of playing this game isn't enough ammunition to announce to the world that, "this game sucks and I'm putting NBA 2K15 back into my PlayStation 4." I do have enough ammo to let you know that it isn't that great though. For example, the players jumpshots animations gets on my last nerve. They may have the form some what correct but during the release of the shot, players swing their right foot forward. Since when did every NBA player start this? Being a die hard Ray Allen fan I KNEW his shot would be spot on. He has the perfect form for young kids to study today. I was more wrong then catching Hitler catching the Holy Ghost in front of a Jewish priest. Ray swings his shooting hand side ways, his right foot kicks out at the top of the release, and his facial expression looks as if he knows he is going to miss....every time he shoots!

Match ups

Things that I did notice that I did enjoy about the gameplay would be the match ups. I played with the 07-08 Boston Celtics against today's Boston Celtics. Why you ask? BECAUSE I COULD!

As I played I noticed that they have removed players being able to dribble through defense and head straight to the basket like LeBron James doing his occasional travel. You try strong arming through the defense expect to get ripped up! This is beautiful by the way.

Also I've noticed the block party. Go up with something weak expecting 2 points your shot is either flying off the glass back to the court or spiked out of bounce. No generic shots here. Almost reminds me of the 70s.....I was born in the 90s.

They also added a defense meter which is ok. I mean if I'm playing a peer in my home and he notices the player is weak defending outside then my opponent will take advantage and this may lead to me calling him a cheater then a argument starts then a fight. All because he saw the meter turn red while my player was defense.

The new teams were selected well. I think its still to early to put the 12-13 Miami Heat on the game. People still hate that team. Myself included and I'm proud Ray Allen recieved number 2. i also do not see the point of KG's Timberwolves of 04. Keep in mind he was deadly that year but why? If that was the case drop the Miami Heat 12-13 and add the Seattle SuperSonics of 05. The team that took the Spurs to Game 7 and dominated the sacremento Kings. They dropped the ball with the Heat. That was just LeBron James Di___ never mind.

What I think the issue is here....

They must of paid Spike Lee a fortune for the story line. Thats the only way I can see why the lack of actual reality of this game took a turn for the worst. Or being so concerned with NBA live making a comeback that they changed the format up. Which is totally find. The same gameplay every year gets stale. Players look generic, Rondo a little two damn muscular, Paul Pierce doesn't look as awkward as he should look etc. I havent started mycareer mode yet because the face scan still sucks! I'll post pics of my face scans. Ridiculous Smh so I can't give my honest opinion on it yet. I do know that Spike lee doesn't have any projects that can interfere with his creative talents for this game. So he MUST of created a world that gains are attention emotionally on our quest for a ring. I'm all for it but don't forget about the game. The game that we go out and die for. The game. Don't forget about the game.

This leg swing. Has to Go...I'm serious.

Rays feet is usually set. 95% of the time. Even when contested. This shot looks like he is being contested when he is wide OPEN! Who approved of it! Every player lands like Kobe? Really?

Man......I'm not even dark skinned....SMH

How is it possible to be worst then it was for 2K15. At least I looked a little bit like myself on there. On 2K16 it looks like Spike Lee wrote your player in to get jumped into the NBA! This isn't my face!
