5 Android games that are tons of fun

Updated on July 7, 2016

Mobile Gaming

Mobile Gaming has been getting bigger and bigger recently, with such a huge amount of games popping up into the Play Store- it can be difficult to find good games for your pocket. The following list includes just a few games that we have enjoyed the most on our Androids, (in no Particular order.)

Tower Defense

In this cartoon-ish game we found hours of fun play time. Mowing down hordes of catapults and grim reaper-esque figures has never been so satisfying. There isn't a clear "goal," (other than the satisfaction of killing a giant ice man with star shaped nipples) but upgrading your castle and army will keep you interested. A refreshing take on the old school tower defenses, watching your troops slaughter hundreds of odd creatures is a blast here.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

Be a Jedi-- or not

We were tickled pink to find this gem of a game on the Play Store. My girlfriend and I love Star Wars, so this had to make the list. Aside from a couple of bugs, you will have an amazing adventure in this game. Force powers, customization-able lightsabers, interesting party members and tons of gameplay- along with a great story and a fun twist ending that I won't spoil for you. This one gets a 10/10 from me.

The Bard's Tale

Just so much fun

Another classic that we were delighted to find in the Play Store- Bards Tale has great gameplay, hilarious and witty banter, and a great story to top it off. I would recommend this to anyone- regardless of their preferred genre. This is one that will make you laugh and keep you coming back for more and more.

Marvel: Contest of Champions

I'm throwing this one in because it has great graphics, an O.K. story, and awesome Marvel characters. Although the gameplay can get old fast, unlocking new and different types of champions feels fun and rewarding. This one may not be for everyone- but I included it because I love Marvel- and I would watch Star Lord put the beat down on The Hulk any day of the week.

Lords Mobile/ Castle Clash

Castle Builders

We went with Lords Mobile for the list- but I felt Castle Clash was an honorable mention because they are extremely similar. The castle building games for mobile devices are starting to flood the Store. I went with Lords Mobile because I don't really have to pay to win, although there are definitely huge advantages to those who do. This one edged out the other Castle games because I've spent more time with it, and it seems like it has more life to it than the others. The graphics are also pretty cool.
