Vintage Acme Supreme Juicerator Juicer

Updated on November 15, 2012

Here's A Video I Made For You!

Acme Supreme Juicerator

Here's a really cool picking find I got recently at my favorite thrift shop! I just love these art deco, chrome finished kitchen appliances. This one is very cool and glistens with that mirror like finish! I got this one for the bargain basement price of only $8! It is tested and works great. It's always so exciting to come across something like this for that price because this is a very expensive device. On Ebay it will run you close to $75 plus shipping for a good one. I plan to sell mine for about that much.

This juicer actually is a dual feature juicer. It has an attachment for citrus juicing as well as other fruits and vegetables with a traditional centrifugal style. This seems to be a commercial grade quality one, as it is very powerful. You can buy similar models online brand new but they will cost well over $200! If I were looking for one, I would go check out Ebay because they can be found very commonly for much cheaper.

I have a very fancy masticating juicer at home which I prefer to use. It is very effective for green leafy vegetables in particular, but much more time consuming. You can also buy these online but they are much more expensive because they are much more powerful. I find the masticating juicers like the Omega ones much easier to clean and they are generally more compact.

Because this juicer is so large, and a centrifugal style model, it juices very quickly. Sometimes when you are short on time, it is a lot easier to use this kind of juicer than a slower masticating juicer. Clean up should be easier with this one too, and while I have not used this actual model yet, from taking it apart I can see that it will not take a whole lot of work to clean it. Overall, this looks like a real serious die hard machine. You can't beat the style either!
