Bad Company 2 Weapon Collectables Guide Part 2.

Welcome to Part 2 of the Battlefield Bad Company 2 Weapon Collectables / Collectibles Guide. This part of the guide gets you the 15/30 achievement and just beyond to 20/30 (including the T88 S & MP-443 you automatically acquire during the Upriver mission). Part 2 covers the third, fourth and fifth missions and their respective Bad Company 2 Weapon Collectables:

  • Upriver.
  • Crack the Sky.
  • Snowblind.

Weapons which you are certain to acquire during the story for essential mission elements are uncovered. If you are only looking for a particular weapon, please press Ctrl-F to use your browser's search function. If it is not here, it is either in Part 1, or Part 3 of the guide.

Where to find AEK-971R?

First seen in mission: Upriver.

Once you have traversed the narrow cliff walkway which Sweetwater is a little scared of, and your squad has presented you with the plan of taking out the camp below, kill the guy in the MG tower to the right, plus the sniper in the tower to the left, then head down into the river. It is highly likely that one of the guys you kill in the river has the AEK-971R.

Upriver: T 88R LMG collectible / collectable.

After being tasked with assaulting the militia stronghold, head down the hill and take out the two guys on the small footbridge. Other militia will now attack; defeat them and head into the building to the right just past the bridge, one will have been firing upon you with the T 88R LMG.

Where to find SPAS-12S?

First seen in mission: Upriver.

After clearing the first area of the militia stronghold, your squad will come under fire from an armored MG position. Heed Sarge's orders and follow him. As you turn the corner, instead of heading left to take out the MG gunner, look to your right and you will see the SPAS-12S. It is marked on your map as a fixed-position collectable.

Congratulations! You are now the proud owner of the 15 collectables achievement! Finish the level to receive the MP-443 pistol unlock and keep reading if you want to get 30/30 anyway!

After heading up the steps you will come under MG fire, follow your squad to flank and kill the MG position, then look to your left and there are some steps going up. At the top to the right of the small stone structure up there is the M95.

After being denied an airlift, you'll fight into a small settlement. Before you get to the buggy, there will be a fixed MG facing away from you, and a fixed grenade launcher facing towards you. Go down the steps to the right of these and in front of you will be the SCAR-LS. It is marked as a fixed-location collectable on your map.
