Grand Theft Auto 4

PS3 Classics

1. Call of Duty 3 (2006): This World War 2 game is a first person war game. This game has fourteen (14) missions and it is based on The Storming of the Beach at Normandy. Your characters rotate between several countries including France and Poland. The weaponry ranges from Pistols, sniper rifles and machine guns to knives, bare hands and grenades and booby traps. The Call of Duty war series is very addicting. For the game players of the past, the graphics on this game are way more realistic looking than the days when we first started out with our humble little Nintendo's.

2. Grand Theft Auto 4 (2008): This game features your character stealing cars, robbing people and performing missions for mob bosses. Cell phones are used to inform you of missions in the open criminal city. Your weapons are limitless but, must be obtained by completing different missions, finding them as you walk along the game or, it may point out where one is,or take it from someone. You also have the chance to pilot helicopter, as well as. shoot a sub machine from the helicopter. My brother always loved to play this game. Any time you found him playing, he was playing Grand Theft Auto.

3. Metal Gear Solid 4 (2008): This game can be played in a first or third person point of view. A cool addition to this game is, the Psychology Meter which measures stress endured in the game from your intake of gas smells and, hot or cold temperatures. This game takes place in the middle east and it features a vast array of weapons. Weapons that if, were really used today, are quite scary. Some of the weapons are probably used today.

4. Tekken 6 (2009): This is a one or two player fighting game that pits you against many armed soldiers. This game has spawned many sequels over the years and has eighteen (18) characters to choose from. The Tournament mode features the best two out of three against big challengers with skills and weapons. You need to make sure that you are ready to take on this warrior.

5. Infamous (2009): This game has had a few sequels already and has an open city type game play like GTA (Grand Theft Auto) except one thing, you have super powers because of an explosion that you were exposed to. The game has great music, sounds and graphics as well. It is too easy to beat this game but, it sure is fun. The cut scenes are quick and seamless.

6. Far Cry 2 (2008): This one player first person shooter takes place in the deserts and jungles of Africa. Your transportation features boats and hang gliders if you can believe it. The weapon supply is thick with shotguns, mortars, crossbows, dart rifle, grenades and multiple machine guns. Be ready for a fast paced game with quick twists and turns. Africa is quite dangerous and unpredictable.

7. Battlefield 3 (2011): This first person shooter takes place in America on the East Coast and overseas in Iran. Your character leads five Marines into Iran on a rescue mission and the player can control tanks, planes and a vast array of weaponry. This one person game puts you in control, to be the go to guy for the Battlefield.

8. L.A. Noire (2011): This is a one player gangster crime game that features your player as a L.A. detective. This game is set in the 1940s and you must solve murders and robberies. The game features the new MotionScan, which zooms in and shows every contortion of the characters faces in the game. Also, the game does a great job of capturing the way the 40s looked especially in the background scenery and the clothing of the characters. Gangster's look real life in this game.

9. Soul Calibur 4 (2008): This one player fighting game actually features several characters from Star Wars in the game and your equipped with armor and a sword. This game features tournament one on one mode and story mode. Also you can rip the soul from a wounded enemy. An excellent game that is somewhat underrated.

10. Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. (2009): Your character chooses from over 50 different air craft to use during combat. You are in the Air Force and you are on another planet in this edition of the popular gaming series. The weaponry is immense and the battles are intense because of the sound effects.
