Classic Playstation Games

1. Resident Evil (1997): You must shoot, stab and find any other method of killing zombies you can. Clues, maps, keys and puzzles are also featured in this game. This is a one player horror action game. The game has spawned many sequels, and several movies. It is the first truly rated M zombie franchises. They even have a first person Resident Evil game which is more or less a remake of the first one shot in a different view with a few new creatures. The cut scenes along with the scary music make this a horror video game for the ages.

2. Twisted Metal (1995): In this video game, you are a racer who is loaded with an armored car and your goal is to destroy the other racers before they kill you. This is a last car alive video game. It is a one or two player game and you can choose between twelve unique vehicles before the battle...I mean the death race begins. It is very intense and it is rated M. Blood and intense violence is featured in this fast paced destructive racing game that gets more wilder as you progress.

3. Medal of Honor (1999): Steven Spielberg created Medal of Honor, and it is a one player, first person, point of view video game. As a Lieutenant, you must be strategic as you kill Germans during World War 2. This game features great music, sound effects, game play and the story line is fast paced and dramatic. Although gun fighting and war are part of this game, it is your decision, as to how to play the game. You are having to use your brain that counts the most.

4. Jet Moto (1997): This video games is a one player game that has a couple of sequels. In this racing game Your character races in a hover bike, which hovers and can be raced on in the water or, on the open ground. It is a very addicting game that is hard to put down once you really get into it. You must avoid obstacles along the way including, other bikers and drivers.

5. HBO Boxing (2000): This game has HBO music and commentary as well as, house fighters. The house fighters include, Roy Jones and George Foreman and past legends such as Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier. This fighting game has career mode, so get ready to bob and weave and throw bombs. You can create the name, and look of the boxer your creating, as well as their style, boxing trunks and color of their boxing trunks.

6. Frogger (1997): This two player classic game, is based on the Atari video game. In the game, the frog must cross the street without getting crushed and then leap logs to cross the water. Be careful because there are snakes and alligators. It is basically the same as the same Atari game but, it has much improved color, sound and graphics obviously.

7. Final Fantasy 8 (1999): This single player role playing game has made many sequels and a couple of feature films too. You use a 3D map to navigate as you travel to lands by foot, boat, car and train. The game has a lot of small duels during the game leading up to the end.

8. Castlevania Chronicles (2001): This is a single player horror game in which your goal is to defeat the evil Count Dracula. Your character comes equipped with a whip, and as you go, there are knives, and other useful weapons and tools needed for survival. The creatures in this game are spooky and they include Dracula, bats, zombies, ghosts and ghouls.

9. Bloody Roar (1997): This is a one on one fighting game filled with kicks, punches and throws. One more thing, you can morph into a half human and half beast for your matches. This game has 25 playable characters to use in battle. Each character has his own finishing move and fighting style. I loved the graphics and sound effects even though the controls were a bit stiff.

10. Batman Forever: The Arcade Game (1997): In this game, your character plays as Batman or Robin and your primary villains are: The Riddler and Two Face. Cinematic cut scenes are loaded in this classic Batman game. The items you use are the bat mobile, bat cycle and the bat wing. Note to self, other items such as batarangs and your arsenal on your utility belt.

Playstation Products and Accessories

Sony has created many accessories to go along with the PS1, 2 and 3. The following are some of the most popular additions.

1. Eye Toy: This camera puts you into the game. It hooks into the PS3 and sits atop your television set.

2. Playstation Move: The answer to the Wii. Not overly impressed with this gadget to be honest about it.

3. Laser Gun: A gun used in shooting games instead of a controller. I really enjoy the controller with certain games.

4. Playstation Dock: This gadget helps store and hold the Playstation. It holds the PS in an upright position which prevents it from getting hot.

5. Playstation Plus: PS Plus gives you free PS games downloaded from the internet. A nice place to get free games.

With the arrival of the Playstation 4 you can believe many more Sony products are yet to come.

Hmm unusual list. Most would disagree with it, especially since Final Fantasy 7 didn't make the list. The same could be said for Final Fantasy Tactics as well.
