The Top Games for the PS3 Move for Your Children

These are the best PlayStation 3 (PS3) Move games for kids and I am listing the top choice for every age, from a hip Disney dance or singalong game to the most challenging sports event.

I have listed the ESRB rating, as well as my own opinion, in order to help you select the best PS3 Move video game for your kids!

Also, when I say "kid" please don't feel left out. Any adult can play any game they like, since we all are kids at heart. :)

PlayStation 3 Move Bundle Starter Pack

This includes everything you would need, if you do not yet own a PS3 console. This is the most powerful version available.

What is the PS3 Move Anyway?

The Sony PlayStation Move is simply the most immersive video gaming experience possible to for the PlayStation 3 video game console.

Using advanced motion sensors and the PlayStation Eye Camera, their every movement is mimicked on your TV screen or monitor in breathtaking Blu-ray powered High Definition.

If you do not already have a PlayStation 3 (PS3) game console, then you will want to buy one, along with the Eye Camera and Controllers. You can buy these components as part of a starter kit, as seen to the right.

Sports Champions

Appropriate for: Older kids

ESRB Rating: Everyone 10+

Sports Champions - Playstation 3

User rating: excellent; a Customer Review rating of 4.5 out of 5 on Amazon.

Sports Champions

This awesome game is bundled with PlayStation 3 Move. Sports Champions allows up to 4 players to engage in half a dozen athletic events and games, including bocce ball, beach volleyball, disc golf, archery, table tennis, and gladiator duel.

Kids (and adults!) watch in wonder as their avatar's (their character) paddle-wielding hand mimics every twist and turn of their wrist and flick of the buttons.

Gladiator duel is the game that involves swords and shields, but no blood or killing, can be fairly intense, which makes it probably better suited for slightly older children.

Toy Story 3

Appropriate for: Older Kids

ESRB Rating: Everyone 10+

Toy Story 3

In Toy Story 3 the child gets to play as Jessie, Buzz or Woody (and Zurg!). Each character has different and unique abilities.

There are several types of missions to play and as your kids complete missions, they can buy more new toys for their character! These toys will allow the youngster to have more fun by adding different ways in which to play.

Another really cool feature is "Toy Box Mode". In this mode you can add new buildings, then change how they appear by changing the building paint colors, growing flowers, adding brick, or making tons of other fun modifications! You can even change the look of the townspeople!

Create

Appropriate for: All kids older than 6 years

ESRB Rating: Everyone

Create

In the game Create the kid uses and develops his or her sense of logic and creativity to solve elaborate puzzles.  You or your child use powerful tools with thousands of brushes, textures, stickers, elements, animating objects, and more to create each scene your way.

Imagine that you have to "maneuver a race car through a flaming hoop, say 20-30-40 feet up in the air. Think you could do it? What if it had to be done with balloons?", as they say from the developers of Create.

I love games that allow you to learn!

Eyepet

Appropriate for: Younger kids

ESRB Rating: Everyone

Eyepet

The Eyepet video game is a ton of fun and great for kids. It is a virtual pet simulator in which the kids can interact with the virtual animals, hatch them from an Eye egg, dress them and SO much more.

It is very cool to see this little guy projected right into your virtual living room.

The pet has a mind of its own but it needs to be fed, groomed, educated, cared for and challenged. The better care it receives, the more fun and smarter it becomes.

A drop in the bucket of the many things your child can do with Eyepet:

  • Eat cookies
  • Play with different toys
  • Become a bowling ball
  • Jump through hoops
  • Take baths
  • Learn how to draw
  • Fly little airplanes, chasing bubbles
  • Changed into dozens of clothing items
  • Change the color, length, pattern and texture of its fur

Some of them look like something I'd enjoy. Sometimes I'm still a kid at heart.

Thanks for sharing and good review for parents.
