The Glorious Return of the PPSH and more!

The "Gorod Krovi" trailer reveals a lot of information regarding what fans can expect in the new "City of Blood" zombies experience and upon closer look there are a number of returning favorites from previous Call of Duty Zombies maps!

Fans can expect to see the return of Quick Revive, Speed Cola, Dr. Monty's Gobble Gum Machines, and the Wunderfizz machine (as seen in the trailer in a few very short clips) but the most amazing news coming to the new City of Blood map is the return of two fan favorite weapons, not available since Call of Duty: World at War!

As seen in the new "Gorod Krovi" Zombies trailer, Dempsey takes one more spin at the Mystery Box "For old-times sake" and much to everyone's surprise, up pops that deadly Russian beast--the PPSH-41! Fans have been waiting and begging for the return of this gun since Call of Duty: World at War and its return has been rumored at every DLC release of a new Zombies map. Now fans finally get what they want, but that is not all!

Also seen in the trailer is the return of another classic weapon from days of World at War. The return of the Mountable MG-42. This massive machine gun is equipped with a heavy payload and ammo clip, as well as an attachment making it mountable to certain surfaces/ledges in the zombies map. Whether this is going to be a weapon you can spin from the Mystery Box or a turret-like defense seen in Kino Der Toten, is yet to be know. Either way, ret assured Zombies fans cannot wait to get their hands on them.

Zombies, Dragons, Robots, Oh My!

As with every Call of Duty Zombies map, comes a slew of grotesque and newly designed dead to slaughter and destroy round after round. In "Shi No Numa" we were first introduced to the "Hell Hounds" (Round 5 Wave boss) In "Mob of the Dead" we met Brutus, the massive Panzer-like guard and first ever Boss enemy. Now in "Gorod Krovi" we meet a new breed of zombies, (as well as skeletons) Robotic Drone Round 5 enemies and a new terrifying Panzer boss, equipped with a deadly scythe attached to his hands.

The skeleton zombies were first seen in the "Awakening" DLC's "Der Eisendrache" Zombies as a side-quest easter egg and we have seen a Panzers in the Black Ops 2 "Origins" zombies as well. These new versions seem even more deadly, while the new drone round enemy seems like the creatures found flying around Round 5 on "Shadows of Evil".

Most importantly, the "Gorod Krovi" trailer focuses on a new aid to the Origins crew, a massive fire-breathing dragon that players can control and fly to different areas! The Origins crew can be seen riding this dragon across the map on what looks like a special harness. Oddly enough, it resembles the Lunar Landers from Black Ops Zombies "Moon". It's speculated upon that it may have to be assembled using certain items found around the maps (like the Zombie Shield we can also look forward to returning).

There's much more to expect as seen in the trailer for "The City of Blood" zombies map such as the return of a trample-steam device and window shutters, but to fully understand the mysteries of "Gorod Krovi" we will have to wait for July 12, when PlayStation 4 users get to finally play Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 "Descent" DLC.
