Activision Announces the 4th and Final Map Pack

If you happen to be checking out the official Call of Duty: Black Ops website, take a look at the Intel section and you will see that Activision & Treyarch have announced the release of the 4th and final DLC map pack for the best selling game ever, Call of Duty: Black Ops!

The final content download will feature the 4 Classic Zombies maps from Call of Duty: World at War and an all-new Zombies mode map called "Moon", and a few other goodies too. So what's the lowdown on the "Rezurrection" Map Pack?

It's the End of the Line!

Black Ops "Rezurrection" will not only be the first ever "All Zombie" map pack and the final map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops, but the new DLC will feature the end of the line for Richtofen, Dempsey, Nikolai, and Takeo; ending the Nazi Zombies Saga forever!

The Map is called "Moon" and for good reasons, as this final adventure of zombie slaughterama takes place in Outer Space! There will be new zombies to battle, as well as new weapons to destroy the living dead with and even a new perk, rumored to be Triple-Tap. (Update: Triple Tap was only speculation, it is not available in any of the maps)

I bet my bottom dollar that another musical Easter egg will be waiting for players, as well as another Mega Easter Egg of Insanity! I can't wait for this one and many gamers are still praying for the final boss fight with Dr. Maxis and Samantha. Will we ever get to take down the diabolical duo? Guess we'll have to wait until August 23rd! (Update: There is no boss fight in the new map pack. However Call of Duty: Black Ops III does have boss fights in their Zombies Maps)

Goodies Included!

To sweeten up the 1200 MSP price, a little bonus this time, taking the form of a Premium Zombies "Moon" Theme for the Xbox 360 Dashboard and the entire Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies Soundtrack with a bonus 3 songs, never before available for download!

What If I Already Have The Classic Maps?

Surely, if you bought the Prestige or Hardened Edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops, you must be wondering "Why should I pay 1200 MSP? I already own the Classic Maps!"

Well the best part about the "Rezurrection" Map Pack is that is Completely Free for anyone who purchased the Prestige and Hardened editions of Call of Duty: Black Ops! Free!

Until the 23rd...

The "Rezurrection" Map Pack comes out for the Xbox 360 first, on August 23, 2011. If you already have the Classic Maps it is free, if not you'll pay 1200 Microsoft Points or the equivalent of $15. Are you ready for the end of the Nazi Zombies story?

what a bunch of cheap whining cry babies about "how much" the map pack costs! Wow, what a bunch of spoiled brat children you all must be. wow, could any of you even begin to program any of this kind of stuff?Do you think its easy or something? This map packs cost millions of dollars to make, and you are just dang lucky that millions of people buy it and bring the costs down to a measly 15 dollars. Its because of cheap tight wad people like you that "moon" may be the last zombie map they ever make, which stinks for people like me that are glad to pay 15 dollars for any new maps, now and for years to come!

Xbox has a contract with Activision for first access to every Call of Duty DLC. I also agree with adeang that 15 bucks is a little pricey afterpaying 800 for Modern Warfare and World at War. I know that they put a lot more work into the newer game titles. It's a good thing that I spent the extra dough on Prestige Edition.

$15 would be a total rip-off like the past three map packs. If you bought the previous 3 you paid 3/4 the price of the game for 12 maps and 3 zombie maps what a scam.
