Another brain teaser this week

Hello again,

First of all I promised you the answer to last weeks brain teaser.

Now, before I give you the answer, some of you did not see the brain teaser last week so please look at it first and see if you can work it out by clicking here: brain teaser 2 you will be able to return to this brain teaser after because there is a link back to this hub there to click on.

First of all take a look at this weeks brain teaser, I'm going to give you the answer to last weeks at the bottom.

I like this one.

The picture at the top shows a boat in a swimming pool.

The question is this.

Which would raise the water level in the pool higher?

a. you got into the pool

b. you got into the boat

c. doing either would raise the level of the water the same

You could always get a boat and put it in a pool and try it yourself but that would be cheating and a lot of work!

I will give you the answer next week.

Please leave a comment and take the poll to tell me what you think is the right answer.

The answer to last weeks brain teaser was "A Leek" did you get it?

If you love brain teasers then why not visit my website pub quiz brain teasers or you could take a look at my other hub: Picture Dingbats

      OK, here's the answer JayJay...

You get into the boat. The reason is because the boat would displace more water with you in it than you would just getting into the pool.

I'm surprised only 1 person bothered to have a go!

Great hub and brain teaser, I had to think about it for a while. I expect my reasoning is flawed, but it's the best I can do.
