Buy Corgi Comic Classics Diecast Vehicles
In the early 90' Corgi released a Limited Edition range of diecast model vehicles that tied in with Classic Comics from the past. Comics were predominantly boys comics such as Tiger, Lion or The Wizard and these models had an old van with advertising from the Comics emblazoned on the side. These models were a fantastic combination of a Limited Edition collectable Corgi van as well as the nostalgic livery of boys comics from the past.
These Lovely collectors items are beautifully packaged and make great displays. Many of these vehicles are available from Amazon and can be purchased immediatly. Ebay is also a good source for Corgi Models both new and used and they can be at extremely reasonable prices, Ebay also gives you a huge variety to choose from as well as allowing you to still find items that are no longer available.
Tiger Roy of the Rovers Morris 1000 No. 96846
This Tiger Roy of the Rovers Morris 1000 is
an authentic detailed
replica of a classic Morris 1000 panel van made in 1992. The diecast
model is a beautifully finished 1.36 scale model and comes complete with full body decoration showing Roy of the Rovers in action along with a large copy of the Tiger comic masthead. There were only 6000 of these Limited Edition models made and each come with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
Roy of the Rovers was long lasting comic strip detailing the adventures of Roy Race and his Melchester Rovers team as they won League titles, FA Cups and even European Cups. Over the years this comic strip featured in a number of comics with The Tiger being probably the most famous and most loved.

Adventure was a 1950's comic with detailed prose stories but also good quality cartoon stories on the front and back covers. It later merged with The Rover in 1961 becoming "Rover and Adventure" before a later fusion with "Wizard".

The Wizard Morris J Van No. 98758
This Wizard Morris J Van is

The Wizard was filled mainly with boys stories along with a few one line comic strip jokes and "Spadger's Spot for Puzzles" which started in 1922. The Wolf of Kabul first appeared in 1961 and ran until 1983 detailing the adventures of Second Lieutenant Bill Sampson who was an agent of the British Intelligence Corps on the Northwest Frontier he was disguised as a native but was given away by his blue eyes. He was armed only with two knives although his Oriental sidekick, Chung, made devastating use of a cricket bat.

The Lion started in 1952 and lasted up to 1974 goign through many mergers with other comics such as "Lion and Sun', 'Lion and Champion', 'Lion and Eagle' and finally 'Lion and Thunder'. Captain Condor was the daring Commander of a space patrol very much in the mould of Dan Dare and was the flagship comic strip of Lion.
