Buy Lego Avatar The Last Airbender Sets

Updated on January 16, 2011

Avatar: The Last Airbender was a Lego theme released in Summer 2006 based on the popular Nickelodeon television show Avatar: The Last Airbender. It's sets were only released in Canada and the United States of America. There has been a sudden upsurge in interest in these sets following the release of the movie The Last Airbender in Cinemas in July 2010.

This series was fairly small making up only 2 sets, and the sets produced are based only upon Book 1, thus recreating events solely from this timeframe so that we have not yet encountered Toph, and Zuko is still bent on capturing Aang. Whether Lego will re-release the theme or add new sets following the success of the film is anyones guess.

Ebay is a great source for new and used Lego sets and they can be at extremely reasonable prices, Ebay also gives you a huge variety to choose from as well as allowing you to still find items that are no longer available

Air Temple No. 3828

The Last Airbender Air Temple Set was released in 2006 and features a portion of the Northern Air Temple. Also included in this set are 5 minifigures of Aang, Sokka, a Firebender, a Fire Nation soldier and Momo the lemur. This set contains a huge 400 pieces.

This Air Temple set contains the Northern Air Temple, a small catapult, a Fire Nation Tank and Aang with his glider. The Air Temple model features a trap door, a working seesaw-like catapult that flips figures or blocks outward in the temple's defense. The front gate is made up mostly of round, single-stub pieces that simulate wood logs. A locking mechanism built into the gates keep the temple secure from invading Fire Nation soldiers. The Fire Nation Tank has a detachable top section with a disk flinging device on it. When detached, a soldier fits into the lower carriage section, which has a small engine in the back. The small catapult is triggered by pushing down a lever at the side, and its ammunition consists of transparent-green cylinders.
