Scrabble Flash Cubes Game Review - How to Play Scrabble Flash Cubes

Scrabble Flash Cubes reminds me of a Scrabble Boggle hybrid game. Since I love both of these classic games, Scrabble Flash Cubes was an instant hit with me. The same was true of my two daughters, ages 19 and 21. We had a blast playing this. And from the looks of online sales and reviews, others have fallen in love with Scrabble Flash Cubes, too.

How to Play Scrabble Flash Cubes

No game board is needed to play electronic Scrabble Flash Cubes. Each player moves and shuffles around electronic letter tile cubes to form words. Each time a word is created, the tiles light up and beep. Plus, the electronic Scrabble game automatically times and scores your turn. There is a 60 second limit. This is where the name comes from- How many words can you make in a flash of 60 seconds? It is a fast-paced word game, unlike classic Scrabble.

Scrabble Flash Cubes are very easy to set up and play straight from the box. Don't even worry about installing batteries- it's already been done for you. It's easy to learn how to play, even if you've never played Scrabble before.

Another cool feature of Scrabble Flash Cubes is that there are 6 different ways to play- 3 for individuals, and 3 for groups.

I also love Scrabble Flash Cubes because it has a solo mode. Sometimes I want to play Scrabble, but there is no one else around. That is not a problem with Scrabble Flash Cubes, as I can play alone.

An additional great feature of Scrabble Flash Cubes is that it takes up little storage space. Unlike traditional board games, Scrabble Flash Cubes are stored in their own small, durable case complete with instructions. This makes it perfect for travel or for those with limited storage.

My only complaints? I wish the electronic letter cubes were larger. If you play alone, they are fine. But if you play with a group, it's difficult for anyone but the current player to see the letter cubes. Sometimes the game doesn't recognize a word if you don't perfectly align the tiles. But this is not a major problem. And it would be more challenging if players could build larger words, not just up to 5 letter words.

Scrabble Flash Cubes is recommended for ages 8 and up. It is a great family gift idea. This is going to be one of the best, new group games. Long-lasting lithium batteries are even included! Keep this game away from toddlers. It contains small parts that can cause choking.
