Buy a Kidkraft Kitchen Online

Updated on November 21, 2013

A Kidkraft kitchen is a fantastic gift to buy for your child this year. Constructed of wood and designed by engineers to last, Kidkraft toy kitchens have high customer satisfaction and few returns. Kidkraft is a name you can trust.

Operating since 1968, many children through the years have grown up with their solidly-built Kidkraft toys that last for years and years, bringing pleasure through play to younger siblings too.

Due to the hazard of small choking parts, Kidkraft play kitchens are not recommended for children under three years of age, but children above this age will have hours of fun with their new Kidkraft kitchen.

If you have the space, put your Kidkraft kitchen in your kitchen, so that your children can 'cook' dinner while you prepare the meals for real.

The kitchens arrive flat-packed, so be prepared for spending hours putting all the small parts together.

KidKraft Large Kitchen

The KidKraft Large Kitchen measures 42" x 16" x 42" and weighs 83lbs.

This makes it big enough for most children to play without having to bend over, and heavy enough to not topple over.

It's just like a real kitchen in miniature.

It includes a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator and sink.

Unfortunately it does NOT contain a work surface for your child to prepare play foodstuffs.

However, it has enough gadgets to keep a child amused for hours. It has all working cupboards, doors and knobs, and includes a clock with hands that move. Even more delightfully, it is painted in bright, fluorescent colors that your child will love.

The stove top is realistic looking and the sink is removable for easy cleaning.

Both the oven and the microwave have see through doors so that your child can 'check' on how the food is coming on, just like Mum.

I just wish this kitchen had been around when I was small (or if someone had bought it for me). This is a little girl's dream toy.

Here are a selection of some great accessories to go with your child's new Kidkraft kitchen.

From cutlery, to pots and pans to play food.

There are even sets of fridge products your child can leave in the fridge permanently.

Matching curtains open and close behind the sink. A metal pot and pan and two spatulas also come with this set, and the knobs turn and click.

The sink is removable for easy cleaning, and the whole kitchen is large enough for several children to play at once.

There is loads of work surfaces for extra accessories your child would want to play with, like toasters and kettles etc.

All the doors open and close and hours of fun are to be had with the KidKraft Grand Gourmet Corner Kitchen.

Made of sturdy wood and plastic, it stands 36.25" tall, and is 12.5" wide and 36" in length.

It weighs 85lbs and needs to be assembled on delivery.

My Precious Pastel Kitchen

The Kidkraft My Precious Pastel Kitchen is 38.3" x 14" x 39.6", so just perfect for your child to play at cooking and baking in her own little kitchen.

The wooden kitchen comes in lovely pastel colors that your child will love. The kit (it is self-assembly) contains the four metal utensils you can see in the picture here (pot/pan and two spatulas) as well as oven, microwave, refrigerator and freezer with doors that open and close.

Designed for ages 3 and above, this sturdy wooden kitchen will last your child for years and give her hours of fun.

As well as the cupboards that you can see, there is extra storage space under the sink which is removable and washable.

      Great hub

My daughter has had the large kitchen for 4 years and still loves it. It was definitely worth the money

I some of the colors are more suited to boys, like the kidkraft delux let's cook kitchen. Funny how you might discourage litle boys from playing with 'girlie' toys, yet the best chefs in the world are all men!

Izzy I didn't have one as a child either. But yes these are awesome for little girls and boys.
