Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 Elite System is it worth it? Pros and cons
In this hub I will talk about the Elite system for Call of Duty Black Ops 2, and weigh in if it will be worth it or not. I will say whether or not you should spend the money for it, or buy the maps individually.
So if you have reserved the game I am sure that you have been pressured, or the sales person attempted to talk you into reserving the Elite system. While it is not important to reserve the Elite system yet, I still think that it will be worth it.
If you are on the fence about it then let me talk about what it will entail. Keep in mind that Treyarch will be the ones running this Elite, and usually do a much better job than Infinity Ward does as far as releases. I think that if they promise a certain number of maps over a certain time then they will be released, not to mention I think that getting Elite will be crucial for those looking to take advantage of all of Black Ops' features.
If you enjoy zombies, then that alone should be a perfect excuse to get the Elite. While there is nothing confirmed yet, I can almost guarantee that you will need the Elite system for future releases of the zombies game modes. At least in the beginning. At some point they will be available for purchase, but I really suggest getting them when they come out, so I really do suggest buying the Elite for zombies alone.
While the the zombies should be enough to convince you to buy the Elite, I also think that if you are looking forward to the multiplayer it will be worth buying the Elite. There will be new maps hopefully each month, or every couple months, and it will be worth having them as they come out.
Are you buying the Elite for Black Ops 2
While in Modern Warfare 3, I did not suggest buying the Elite system, and was strongly against it for those of you on the fence, But i really feel like the Black Ops 2 Elite system will be worth it. I think that in Black Ops 2 you will see a LOT of benefits by buying the Elite. Keep in mind I don't think there will be as many unfulfilled promises as when the Elite system was released by Modern Warfare 3.
I also think the maps will be better on Black Ops 2 as they're released, as opposed to the bad maps that were constantly released on Modern Warfare 3.
Overall I think that it is worth buying the Elite system as of now. Along with many other guides I will give a better analysis, or rant on the Elite system a few months from now after the game comes out and things either start getting released, or we are disappointed and things are not released. Either way I think that if you are getting the game it will be worth buying the Elite for the zombie maps alone, and the multiplayer maps will just be one addition to the zombie maps.
