Call of Duty Ghosts: Field Orders Tips and Tricks & Humiliate a Player

Updated on November 7, 2013

What Exactly Are Field Orders in Call of Duty Ghosts?

In the new Call of Duty Ghosts Video game, there is something called "field orders." These are essentially challenges players can participate in. Field orders are the blue suit cases that you see in Call of Duty Ghosts Multiplayer. When a player picks them up, they will be issued a challenge. This challenge may require the player to shoot an enemy whilst prone, crouched, knife an enemy, shoot an enemy from behind, or other various tasks.

How Do Field Orders work in Call of Duty Ghosts?

The first player that dies will drop a blue suitcase which contains the field orders. The person who picks up that blue case will be able to complete a challenge given by that blue case. If that person dies then they will drop it, which gives another player a chance to pick it up. Once a player completes the field order given by the blue case, it will reset and someone else will drop another blue case that can be picked up again. Note you can not complete a challenge if you are not holding the blue case. You must complete the challenge whilst holding the blue case.

Do you think it was a good idea to reward Tea Bagging in Call of Duty Ghosts?

How To Complete Field Order's in Call of Duty Ghosts

While it is smart to try to retrieve the blue suit case as soon as possible, sometime's it's better to wait. If you simply rush in to pick it up you may become a target and another player may kill you. Only pick up a blue suit case if you think it's clear. Otherwise, another player may just kill you, pick up the blue case, and complete the field orders for themselves.

In some cases, it's actually a good idea to just shoot other players that run to the blue case and kill them the instant they pick it up. This may allow you the opportunity to retrieve the case and complete the field orders given.

How do I Humiliate Another Player in Call of Duty Ghosts Multiplayer?

Sometimes you may receive a field order where you have to humiliate another player. The game does not specify what this is so some players may not know what to do. Believe it or not, humiliating someone means to tea bag someone! Yes, there is actually a challenge for tea bagging someone in Call of Duty Ghosts!

For those who do not know what tea bagging is, it's when a player crouches up and down repeatably over a player they just killed. This has often been something that has been done throughout video games to make the other player angry.

In order to complete the field orders for humiliating another player, simply crouch up and down a couple times over a player you just killed. Do it quickly because other players might kill you before you are able to complete the challenge.

Rewards for Completing Field Orders in Call of Duty Ghosts

So what's the big deal about competing field orders? Well, you unlock rewards! The first reward is a care package that will give you a random score streak. This can range from a SAT COM or a better random score streak that can be used to help both you and your team. The other two rewards are gaining experience points to rank up (200xp) and receiving a squad point. Squad points can be used to unlock weapons, perks, etc. in Call of Duty Ghosts. One squad point is actually very useful and significant because unlocking squad points is relatively slow in multiplayer.

While it's not necessary to complete field orders in Call of Duty Ghosts multiplayer, it is very beneficial considering the extra experience you will gain and the care packages that you receive. The score streak that you receive from a care package could potentially be the difference between winning or losing a game in multiplayer. Besides, why not try and complete field order challenges? They offer a little diversity and extra fun to the game!

ONLY if it's extra salty. lolz. no, it actually depends on your overall stats, and your current place in the match. if you're ranked fairly low, you actually have a better chance of getting something better.

(here's a model example, numbers are made up to just help. Say if you are in first place in StrikeZone, and your K/D is 5.0. When you call in a package, you have a 70% chance of a Sat Comm and a 10% chance of a KEM Strike. If you're in dead last and your K/D is 0.1, then if you somehow called in a package, you have a 70% chance of getting KEM and 10% getting SATCOMM) we've found this to be pretty consistent, for the most part.

You have to t-bag them right after you kill them, and before you kill someone else. The field order specifies you have to t-bag the last person you kill.

I laughed so hard on release day when I saw this field order. Figured out in seconds. I think it's one of the best things that came out of Ghosts, since the rest of the game pretty much sucks. Took me almost no time to get to 10th prestige, and stockpile a ton of squad points. When I'm playing FFA, I get anywhere between 4-9 squad points per game, easy, and the matches only last from 3-6 minutes.

I think it's hilarious. Still working on completing this order. Do I have to tea bag them right away so they see it on their killed cam? Cause last time I tried to do it, I must have waited too long because I was never given my care package, and I was tea-baggin like there was no tomorrow on that dude. :)
