Intro

Hardcore Domination is a game mode where there are 3 objectives A, B, and C. If you or your teammates stand on an objective for a certain amount of time you will capture this objective. You get 1 point for each objective being held every few seconds. There are 2 rounds in a game. The first team to hit 100 points will win round 1. In round 2 it is the first team to reach 200 total points that will win the game. When playing this on hardcore you will not have the HUD display in the top left corner of the map unless you receive a UAV kill streak. A players health is also significantly cut back, and most weapons will be able to kill you in 1 shot. Friendly fire is also enabled meaning that you can accidentally (or on purpose) shoot your teammates. If played correctly this game mode can be a lot of fun, if played incorrectly, or if you are new to hardcore game modes you may not have a fun time.

Guns / Perks to use

There are certain guns and perks that you can use that will help you succeed when playing hardcore domination. One example is the Karabin sniper rifle. This weapon if used with a 4X scope is extremely deadly in hardcore domination. Playing hardcore with this weapon is also the fastest way for one to get the gold camouflage unlocked on it.

The BAR is also another extremely useful weapon in hardcore domination as it is very accurate, and is a one shot kill weapon. While I don't suggest using a weapon once you complete the gold camouflage as there are other needed to get diamond, the BAR is my go to weapon when things start to get tough.

Armored division is also something a lot of players don't think to use. The armored division will significantly cut down how much damage a player takes from grenades. This is extremely important when capturing an objective especially considering how many grenades get thrown.

As said above grenades can be extremely important when playing hardcore domination. If the enemy team is capturing B, a grenade on the objective will normally take out all players on the objective. Once again not many people use the armored division, and grenades otherwise will be an instant death.

Shotguns can be very beneficial on hardcore domination, but this solely depends on the map you are playing on. Some maps that are close quarters using a toggle action shotgun will allow you to have a lot of success, although bigger maps could cause some issues.

Smoke grenades can also be useful when capturing an objective, but to sacrifice a grenade in its place is not the route that I would suggest going. While there are perks one can take to allow the player to take a smoke grenade and a frag grenade, I feel this also also wasting that spot.

Requisitions perk is also a must have in my opinion. Given how easily you can die, attaching this will allow you to continue playing and not having to worry about your kill streaks re-setting.If you are going to use this perk, i personally suggest choosing higher level kill streaks for later on in the game.

Play style

Play style is a very important aspect to hardcore domination. If you are going to sit in 1 spot you may get a couple kills, but expect to be targeted with multiple grenades and multiple players attempting to kill you.

With that being said, rushing directly towards an objective is not the smart way to play either. When playing hardcore domination you will face many players who know where the spawns are, and will be watching towards the locations of where they know the enemy has spawned. In this case you will want to attempt to flank enemy teammates. There is also a good chance you will run into enemy teammates when flanking them, as most players do not run the traditional routes.

One should also keep in mind the over look positions. While sitting in one place is not the way to play hardcore domination, there are many players who continue to sit in 1 location, and sometimes will continue to go back to that location. One example is some of the glitches in the game. Now that more players know about the glitches, it is not impossible for a player to sit near the entry point of the glitch and kill enemy players that are attempting to get into the glitch. While all glitches tend to get patched, over time people will continue to find new glitches and try to have an advantage over the other team.

Another play style that I prefer involves staying on the B location. You will receive 50 points for each kill, but will receive 100 points for each kill while on an objective. When looking at attempting to rank up quickly this can be a very important part of the process. I will usually continue to move around the B location which tends to be the most popular and kill the enemy players as they step onto the objective.

Score Streaks

Score streaks can be extremely important in hardcore domination. A UAV can easily expose an entire team, and allow you to have easy kills on them. Due to the difficulty in achieving a UAV many players do not use a perk or division to allow them to stay hidden.

One of my favorite kill streaks to use with requisitions is the paratroopers. Paratroopers can almost guarantee you 5 free kills in a short amount of time, which when you are trying to capture an objective, this could potentially be the one thing that secures your team the win.

I used to use care package prior to using requisitions, although I have found that too many players on your team will kill you for the care package. Also with the way the spawns flip, there is a good chance that the enemy will be fairly close to your location by the time you begin calling in the care package.

Summary

Overall hardcore domination can be a very fun game mode to play. If played correctly, and you have a team with you, you can easily win games in this game mode. If you have any questions please comment below.
