Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs Movie

Updated on December 30, 2012

I think it beats Rain anyday

Columbia Pictures' and Sony Pictures Animation's Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs Movie will definitely have everyone talking. What if food rained from the sky? I think it beats rain any day. I do not see a problem with sticking out a bowl and catching some meatballs to eat with my spaghetti.

The movie is based off the popular Children's Book written by Judi Barret and Illustrated by Ron Barret from 1978. Their story has now come to life on the big screen and it will definitely be a new family favorite.

Judi Barret has also written several other popular Chidlren's Books like; Pickles to Pittsburgh (the sequel to Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs), Animals should definitely not wear clothing, An Apple a Day, Old MacDonald had and Apartment House and many more. I wonder if any of them will also become movies??? Will the next be Pickles to Pittsburgh? I guess we will have to wait and see.

UPDATE - Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs Movie 2 coming to theaters in 2013

My husband cannot stand when I tell him who the voices of the characters are, but I do it every time - I think he expects it now.
