How to play Mafia Wars?

Crime Jobs
A mobster's gotta work! Crime jobs are a great way to earn cash and experience, especially when you’re getting your start. Some jobs require certain items, properties, or mafia size to complete. New jobs become available as you progress through the game by completing jobs, earning cash and expanding your mafia size. Use that cash to buy the tools you need to perform bigger and better jobs for a bigger payoff.

Staying Alive, Stay Fighting, Stay On Top!
In order to do anything from picking a job to picking a fight you need to maintain your health, energy and stamina. You need your health to stay alive in fights and to avoid getting knocked down from a sucker punch. You’ll need your energy to complete jobs and should you get nabbed by the cops – to break out of jail! You’ll need stamina to keep fighting. Earn cash and experience by performing jobs and picking fights! You need experience points to move up to the next level and become a more powerful criminal.

Hit List
Check here to find out who’s got a bounty on their head, and make sure you’re not one of them! A successful hit will earn you a nice cash reward. Keep in mind being a bounty hunter will earn you easy cash, but every other mafia will be able to view the same Marked Men – first come, first served. You can place a mark on most players in your same level range from their Mafia profile as long as you’ve got the stamina and the money to pay out for a bounty.

Properties
Real estate is a great way to earn quick, steady and reliable cash and street credit. Owning properties is where the real cash is at! Properties generate recurring income that can be used to finance your criminal activates. The more properties you own, the more money will continue to roll in.

The Bank
The streets are rough, and rival mafias are everywhere. You can safe guard your cash at the bank, but after laundering and the bank’s cut, you’ll lose about 10%. But better lose it to the bank than on the streets because during fights, you can’t lose money you have in the bank!

The Godfather
Any made man knows that when you need a little help, you go to The Godfather. He’ll make you an offer you can’t refuse. The Godfather can assist you by rise quickly through the ranks by giving you cash, energy or more members power up your mafia fast. You can help The Godfather out by donating or filling out offers. I'm sure he'll be more than happy to return the favor...

Here are some TIPS, TRICKS & CHEATS on MAFIA WARS :

How to get Mafia Wars Godfather Points?

Here are a few tips for getting Godfather Points free and quickly. You will be awarded one Godfather Point for leveling up. This is a very slow way to accumulate mafia wars Godfather Points, but every little bit helps right? The free surveys are the preferred choice for the frugal Mafia Wars player. The problem with the godfather points free surveys is that they are often time consuming and difficult to finish because they require multiple offer paths. As a general rule you must complete at least one and possibly more of the offers presented with the survey. If you want to do a lot of surveys I would recommend setting up a new email account (there are many sites out there that will give you a free email address) and using that email for the surveys since you will receive a lot of marketing emails from entities affiliated with the surveys you've completed. Remember that most of the surveys report on a delay, so if your Godfather Points do not show up immediately you have to wait for 15-60 minutes for the points to show up. Some of the surveys are hit or miss, and a list of verified Surveys will be forthcoming. The pay offers are generally the best way to get free Godfather Points.

The money may seem like a good idea at the beginning, but after you buy enough properties you will have more money than you know what to do with. The extra family members are not needed if you use an Add Train. The new name does not really matter in the game. The health refill is not needed since you can heal at the hospital. The stamina refill might be useful if your stamina is high enough, but most players would prefer an energy refill as opposed to a stamina refill. So that leaves the energy refill and the four skill points. Remember that you get five skill points for leveling up and at lower levels one energy refill will usually be enough to level up and get the five skill points. At higher levels it will probably take multiple energy refills to level up so it may be a better idea to use Godfather Points to get Skill Points instead of energy refills. Of course that depends on if you are working on an energy dependent task such as mastering a job tier, in which case the energy refills would be better than four stat points. Again it all depends on how you are playing the game.

Recommended Equipments that you should know:

  • Weapons: Bloody Chainsaws should be available to half your mafia (since you’ve been buying them every two members right?), thus the other half should utilize the Chain Guns (.50 Caliber Rifle is better once you start looting).
  • Armor: Body Armor all around – period. Yes, you can buy other stuff too, but this is a definite purchase.
  • Cars: Secondary to armor and weapons, but if you must have one, the Towncar comes recommended.

This should be more than enough to get you started on the right track on Mafia Wars:

  1. Avoid the hitlist as best as possible
  2. If you ever attack someone and get the maximum amount of cash ($70,000), bookmark them and attack them as often as possible.
  3. It is best to keep defense and attack equal

Best Cash and Experience Jobs:

  • Level 1 – 4: Auto Theft
  • Level 5 – 8: Bank Heist
  • Level 9 – 12: Museum Break In
  • Level 13 – 17: Wiretap the Cops
