Cute Japanese Toys | Japanese Mini Erasers

Updated on August 30, 2013

They Are The Latest Rage In To Collect!

When it comes to cute Japanese toys, these darling itsy-bitsy Japanese mini erasers are quite the rage with kids, especially in the middle schools. They love to collect them and they also love to trade them.

The most well-known and trusted brand brand is Iwako. Their tiny miniatures come in many shapes such as food, cars, animals, sea creatures, toys, household items, etc.

Some of them come with different scents -- mostly the fruits and vegetables.

Many of these collectible erasers are actually tiny puzzles, made of even smaller pieces that can be taken apart and put back together! This means they are not suitable for young children. The product packaging states that they are only for children at least 8 years of age.

These colorful, fun, TINY erasers are great for giving as rewards or incentives or party favors, for collecting and displaying and/or trading, as doll house props, and so on.

You can see how addicting it can be to start collecting these darling toys that are such perfect miniature replicas of the objects, food, animals, etc. that are a part of our everyday lives. They are inexpensive and easy to carry, store, and/or display... the perfect collectible!

Kitchen Themed

Keep in mind, collectible Japanese mini erasers are not used as your average erasers are used, even though they can rub out pencil marks with the best of them....

Collectors of these toys would never use them for anything so ordinary!

.Many items you'd normally find in any kitchen!

Environmentally Friendly and Recyclable

According to their web site, all Iwako erasers are environmentally friendly, which is very good to know....

- Recyclable.

- Non-toxic, lead-free safe materials.

- Non-PVC - releases no toxic fume.

- Energy saving production.

- Recycled paper packaging.

- 100% Made in Japan in clean environmental friendly factories.

- Meet all international standards in safety and environmental care.

- Take apart educational puzzle designs.

- Small parts, not for children under 8 years of age.

Also, it's important to note that all Japanese mini erasers made by Iwako say "Made in Japan" on the packaging.

Beware of FAKES that look exactly like original Iwako erasers. Their packaging will say "Made in China" and do not carry the same environmentally friendly guarantees.

Garden - Tiny and Fun!

You can find some great deals on these tiny toys. Just remember, although they appear incredibly life-like, they are not meant for consumption!

Also, keep these out of the reach of kids under eight years old because they have small parts that could pose a choking hazard.

Sea Life Themed

These are also great to use as stocking stuffers, basket fillers, party favors, and so on. For any child over 8 years they could make much appreciated gifts!

Collecting things is fun at any age, and these are perfect because they are so fun, colorful, cute, and TINY so they won't take up a lot of space!

These colorful, tiny, and truly fun environmentally friendly recyclable erasers are taking the world by storm!

You can take most of these apart and put them back together again and again. You can even mix-match the colors to create your own unique designs.

Could Your "Inner Child" Love This, Too?

I think there is something fascinating about tiny, miniature versions of things we use and eat in our everyday lives, no matter what our age....

I am in my middle 50's now, but no grandchildren yet. My nieces and nephews are already out of school, so I think I may have found out about this collectible craze too late AND perhaps too early to indulge in my urge to order a bunch of these, since I'd feel silly buying them for myself!

(Then again, maybe I'll decide my "inner child" would LOVE to collect these... you never know!) *smile*

This collection craze has been going on for awhile now. It will be interesting to see how long it lasts. At least for now, it's still going full swing!

If you have kids to buy gifts for (whether they are your own kids or not, or you decide to indulge your "inner child" obsession with tiny miniatures of real life objects), find out if they are obsesses with this latest collectible craze YET. If not, YOU can be the one to get them started!

These colorful, teensy-weensy, totally CUTE toys are simply adorable and the opportunity to INEXPENSIVELY create a not only treasured but envied collection is HUGE.

Replicas of Toys

Currently there is a HUGE novelty eraser craze and Iwako is considered THE best eraser brand of tiny erasers to collect.

In fact, one popular design recently sold for $80 on Ebay. So, hurry and start collecting them now!

Tiny toys such as these are perfect for the little boys and girls in your life who love sports. Also use these for prize bags at birthday parties, or as stocking stuffers, too!

5 Main Types to Collect

Iwako eraser collectibles come in 5 main category types:

- Animals

- Toys

- Western Food

- Japanese Food

- Garden themed, such as Fruits, Vegetables, and Flowers

They are premium quality, safe, and clean erasers that are environmentally friendly and 100% made in Japan in clean Green factories.

Periodically, new designs are created and older designs are retired, making them true collectible items that don't take up whole a lot of space and are so much fun to show off!

Wow! I didn't know that even erasers can be collectible items. But they do look cute. I know the sushi ones are pretty common because my son has a few of those.

My kiddos love these and have amassed a small collection themselves. Some stores even have a collectors club enabling you to earn special erasers not otherwise available (Samuari). Great idea for a lens!
