Devil hunter walkthrough (levels 31-40)

Updated on March 29, 2012

This is the 4-th part of the walkthrough.

If you are here by mistake, have a look at the previous parts here:

They are quite fun also, but here starts the better part ;)

Level 31 of devil hunter walkthrough.

Level 31

This level is quite fun. I replayed it few times for pleasure.

You kill all 7 devils with 1 bomb.

  1. Blow the bubble and count to 3.
  2. Release the bomb when the open part of the devil coven party almost faces up.

Score 94+ = 3 stars.

Level 32, just follow the order.

Level 32

Only a bit tricky.

  • Release the right chain first and let the eye swing, release the left chain when the eye accelerates left to gain momentum (almost immediately).
  • Wait for the 3 devils to be pushed down.
  • When the blue one dies, quickly release the other eye to push the 4th demon to the right.
  • Wait a bit so they gather below the spike and cut both chains with single slash.

Score 81+ = 3 stars.

Level 33, again - simply follow the steps.

Level 33

Not hard. Needs to time well only the release of the devil in the middle. But even if you simply quickly click them in the order below - you are quite fine:

  1. Release green devil,
  2. Release spoon devil,
  3. Release left bomb,
  4. Release right bomb,
  5. Release middle devil.

Score 95+ = 3 stars.

Level 34, follow order again.

Level 34

Also not hard and need to time the fall of the middle devil only.

  1. Release all devils except middle one.
  2. Release bomb.
  3. Release middle devil.

Sometimes it fails to kill them all (green devil gets lucky), so 1-2 replays will be okay (and fun to do).

Score 92+ = 3 stars.

Level 35. Arm with patience.
Level 35. Arm with patience. | Source

Level 35

Tricky. Arm with patience and replay until it happens right.

  1. Release the devil from the chains:
  • Left.
  • Down.
  • Up.
  • Devil starts to swing and you need to cut the right chain in such fashion that makes him take the star and enter the tunnel. As he hits the bomb, timer starts and he dies.

For this to happen, you need to let it swing 2 times and aim the cut at the 3-rd swing (when the parabola of the swing is easy to predict)

Oh, and release the eye so you do something with it. Otherwise, don't bother using it at all.

Score 119+ = 3 stars.

Level 36, Easy if you follow exactly.

Level 36

This one is easy if you follow the steps. So far I've found only this way to pass it.

  1. Blow the left bubble, the other will slide near the pumpkin devil
  2. Cut the eye without cutting the devil. Just let it stuck in the hole.
  3. Blow the other bubble. Pumpkin will bounce on the eye and push himself and the skeleton in the spikes.
  4. Cut the chain, wait 1 second and ...
  5. Relese the bomb.

Do it really quickly for 3 stars. Sorry, no other known method so far.

Level 37 will get you frustrated.

Level 37

Even if you follow this order in the picture, I can't promise you that you will do it from the first try.

I've managed to collect the only star in 2 methods. By timing the falling bubble blow (4-5) well enough. And to collide the 2 devils above the spikes, so the left devil bounces over the star before he dies.

Both are tricky.

The other part is straight.

  • Slide the bubble (7) by blowing the other (6)
  • Blow the sliding bubble (7) below the blue devil.
  • Wait for it to die or roll near the skeleton.
  • Blog bubble (8) and then (9) when it is below the skeleton (and probably the blue devil if he survived the previous blow).

Even with the star, you may not collect 3 stars if you are slow, so don't be clumsy. If something misses or fails - simply restart and retry.

Level 38 is like an old steel ball game (but with spikes)

Level 38

Picture is self explanatory, but ...

  1. Don't rush pushing the skeleton, let the spoon devil fall to the left a bit.
  2. Pumpkin falls a bit chaotic sometimes, so you need to time the second blow (4) accurately, to make him go right and bounce on the edge.

3 stars, easy to collect on the map. If everything goes fine ;)

Level 39 needs replaying to master.

Level 39

Replayed this one 50 times.

Even if it is fun batting grenades, it becomes boring and dull.

Especially when you also need to do it quickly for 3 stars.

In short:

  1. Blow the bubble
  2. Hit it with the bar so it activates and rolls to the blue devil.
  3. Blow the other bubble and...
  4. Release the bar to hit it HARD to the left. Will happen only if you release the bar when the bomb almost hits it.

This is all in basic simple 4 steps, but it only looks easy (3 things will happen often to ruin it for you):

  • Bomb 1 will refuse to enter the tunnel.
  • Bomb 2 will go in the clouds.
  • Bomb 1 will get stuck between the hexagram and the bar.

... it is all about timing. And practice.

Level 40 - First use the devil for a leverage.

Level 40 - The rest must be easy.
Level 40 - The rest must be easy. | Source

Level 40

This is not as hard as it looks.

  1. Release the devil, so you can use it as a leverage.
  2. Cut the right chain and the bomb simultaneously, so they blow the green devil. (if you cut it too late (like this on the second picture) the bomb will activate too early from the fall and you will fail) Just time it well.
  3. Release the chained bar. If you are not unlucky, the bar will move between the hexagram and the floor edge and hit the eye, successfully killing the nurse devil.

All that is left is to drop the remaining devil on the spikes.

If the bar did not fall, try to release them both with the devil and hope they will kick the eye while falling.

Good luck ;)

On level 35, you do need the eye. If you release it so that it wedges in the gap between the two blocks in the lower right hand corner, then you can fling the devil up and over. It will bounce against the eye and roll into the hole with the bomb. All this is much easier to do than trying to get the devil into that little opening.

Yes, it gets lucky most of the time. Try to blow the bomb when the green demon still falls.

It is again a matter of timing.
