Dungeon Siege 3 Warbeast Fight

In dungeon siege 3, the warbeast fight marks the end of the exciting Frostspire Mountain series of quests. The warbeast is released by the villain of the game Jayne Kassynder - part archon and part royal family of Ehb after she seeks parley in the fight against the royalists. After revealing her secrets Kassynder decides to annihilate the royalists in the Tumbledown court.

The warbeast is a huge mammoth like beast capable of dealing 1000+ damage points to the hero. Tactics are need to fight this warbeast.

Dungeon Siege 3 Tactics against the Warbeast

In Dungeon Siege 3, tactics against the warbeast are important in determining how to beat the warbeast. First the hero needs to face the warbeast. Second, the hero needs to face tons of other enemies of the royalist ranks at the same time. It is difficult to focus on the warbeast and yet still tackle the Azunites. One could run around the arena, and try to avoid the warbeast whilst creating Auras of Immolation for the Azunites and Pillars of Fire for the warbeast.

Alternatively, look for this alcove which is like a tail in the minimap. Go and run for this alcove and seek shelter inside this. Inside this little alcove, the warbeast cannot touch the hero controlled by the player character. However the hero can still be surrounded and harmed by the other Azunite enemies, particularly the rogues. Summon the fire jackal and use aura of immolation. One does not have to use the empowered version, just the ordinary version. Reserve pillars of fire for the warbeast. Fire off bolts at the warbeast, and then repeatedly use pillars of fire until the warbeast expires. Of course, one has to max out the proficiencies in the pillar of fire ability.

Dungeon Siege 3 Rewards for Defeating the Warbeast

In Dungeon Siege 3, the rewards for defeating the warbeast are cutscenes showing the defeat of Jayne Kassynder's army by the royalists, and the retreat of Kassynder to her stronghold spire. Meanwhile, the queen thanks the hero for her help, and asks that Kassynder be spared for the final battle. Depending on your mood and gameplay, choose yes or no. Remember to loot the chests next to the queen for treasure, and then proceed to the exit of the Tumbledown Court for the final stage of the dungeon siege 3 walkthrough and game - the Siege against Kassynder's Spire and the final fight against Kassynder and her archons.
