"Escape 5 the Freezer" Walkthrough
The following is a walkthrough to the all new escape game "Escape 5: The Freezer" found on AddictingGames.com (among others).
Key Card Door Screen
You start this game staring at a metal door that requires a key card to open. Take note that you can turn the lights on and off and take a quick look at the hypothermia notice on the wall. Turn to the right.

Stacked Boxes Screen- Jumper #1, Rag, Screwdriver
Pick up the blue rag sitting on top of the boxes and read the note scribbled in red."Add mild to extreme" refers to the hypothermia notice you read earlier. Mild = 35 degrees while extreme = 20 degrees. Added they equal 55 degrees Celsius.
55 degrees C = 131 degrees F
Therefore the code you need to type into the calculator looking device is 131. Press enter and the box will pop open to reveal a screwdriver. Pick it up.
Jumper #1 is also lying in this screen. Just between the two big boxes to the left of the semi-calculator. Pick is up and then go right.
Metal Shelf Screen - Beaker, Ethanol, Jumper #2
Pick up the beaker and the bottle of Ethanol that are on the metal shelf. Jumper #2 is lying on the unmarked bag to the far left of this screen.
Now you want to mix the beaker with the ethanol to create a beaker of ethanol. When the rag is added to the beaker of ethanol it becomes a flammable rag that you will need later. Proceed right.
Fan Screen - Jumper #3, Electrical Chord
First you want to hang your, now flammable, rag on the hook directly under the thermostat that is covered in ice. Read the note under the fan that is off and then click the electrical panel directly above it. Use your screwdriver to open the panel.
You will now need to place the three jumpers in the correct places to get the fan to work. The jumpers can be placed between any of the two red squares you see all over the electrical panel.
They will need to be placed in the following VERTICAL positions.
Jumper #1: In the small white square to the left of the G-5 label there are two jumper slots. Place a jumper in the slot on the right.
Jumper #2: The long vertical white square marked 780 is where you want to start. Start at the top Horizontal line of this square and go right until you hit the VERTICAL jumper connector. Place a jumper in this slot.
Jumper #3: This jumper connector is easy to find. Directly to the right of jumper #2, about an inch, is the VERTICAL jumper connector you need to connect to.
You will now be able to turn the fan on. Do so and back out. You will see a cord blowing from the fan, click it to pick up the electrical cord. Go back to the Key Card Door Screen.
Key Card Door Screen - Electrical Cord Hook Up, Silver key, Brass key
Turn of the light by clicking the switch. Now look up at the fluorescent lights. Use the screwdriver and hook the electrical cord up to the loose wires. Go back down and turn the light on.
Now is a good time to pick up the two keys. When looking at the door click the bottom of the screen to look down. There will be two keys lying there that you need to pick up. A silver key and a brass key.
Now go back to the Fan Screen.
Fan Screen- Key Card
Touch the, now sparking, cord to the flammable rag hanging on the hook. The flames will melt the ice off of the thermometer. When you look at the thermometer you will notice that you can change the temperature in the room to either "Sub Zero" or "Chilled". For now, change to chilled.
This ice block will melt revealing a key card. Pick it up and go back to the door you need to open it with.
Key Card Door- Thermal Suit
Use your newly acquired key card to gain access to your thermal suit. You will now be able to change the temperature of the room to "Sub Zero". Go back to the fan room and do so.
Change the temperature to sub zero. Now is where the tricky part comes in. If you found the super secret document that wasn't mentioned in this walkthrough then you know that mixing the brass key with the ethanol will create U97. You also know that U97 in sub zero temperature will change to a semi-acid that glows green.
Click the bottom of the screen in the fan room to look at the floor where the keys were. Use your newly acquired acid to open the shaft and escape to freedom. Way to go, you did it! Now go back and find the super secret document.
