I combine my love for complicated video games with my ability to write how to articles to develop articles for strategy games.

There are several decorative items in Red Dead Redemption that do not effect stats, but may effect how people react to you in game. One of the creepier is the Cat Skull Mask, which is well hidden. Players are unlikely to happen upon this by mistake, unless they really enjoy searching through a run down swamp town.

Location of the Cat Skull Mask

The Cat Skull Mask can be found in Leymone in the northern part of Lakay, just south of Lagrass.

The swamp town is not hard to find, but it is dressed in a layer of fog, which will make it a little harder to find your way around.

Getting The Cat Skull Mask

The mask can be found in a shed that was built too close to the water. Only the front of the building is out of the water.

Once through the front door, you will see another door that is half under water. You will have to duck to get under this door.

The mask is hanging on the back wall. You will need to climb on the crates to reach the mask. Once you are close, there will be an indicator telling you to pick up the mask. It told me I was going to swap my Viking Helmet with the mask, but when it put the mask on the helmet was still on.

The Cat Skull Mask

The Cat Skull Mask is an actual cat skull, which you will wear on your face. This will likely make people in the game unsettled when you approach them. For that perfect serial killer look, add the skull to the Viking Helmet while holding the Rusted Double Bit Hatchet while standing in the fog in an abandoned swamp town.
