Free Printable Brain Teasers Are Used In Business As Motivational Tools for Team Building

Printable brain teasers are being used more often in today's business as motivational tools for an incentive to encourage their employees and students.

Employers and teachers are handing out these printable brain teasers to be figured out and the lucky winners are given perks such as tickets to an event in their community or a pass at school to skip a night of homework.

Not only is this a cheap incentive but it’s free and it’s fun for all.

Surveys have shown in the workforce that employee's #1 complaint is lack of recognition.

I think we can all attest to that. We've all been on that side of the fence when we have felt unappreciated. Not only is this true in the workforce but in life in general.

Take every mother on this planet! We know that being a mother means running our kids around with our heads chopped off and then they have the gaul to tell you that, "you do nothing"!. O.K., don't get me started.... I rest my case!

The Carrot Principle

Recognition and appreciation are more valued than a pay increase according to the study and that's because they are two of our most basic human needs. Printable brain teasers used as incentives to help boost morale and extend employee recognition are keeping the workforce spirits high.

Employers and teachers alike are finding that work is improving overall.  Without realizing it, the employees and students are improving and challenging their minds. In other words, they are giving their brains a workout using printable brain teasers, where they are required to think in a more creative way than what conventional thinking requires of them.  And this in turn is increasing their cognitive skills to better perform in business and in school.

How I Stumbled Upon This

Recently, I decided it was about time I learn to use google analytics to find which keywords were most frequently being used to search my hub that I wrote over a year ago (Give your Brain a Workout with Some Fun Brain Teasers) and that traffic is still flowing through quite nicely.

I noticed that the keyword printables kept appearing over and over, sometimes combined with other words such as brain teasers, brain busters, brain boosters and even printable mind puzzles and such.

After researching, I began to understand why printable brain teasers were so sought after. They were not only being used to challenge the mind in business and schools but were also being used by parents for teaching cognitive skills to their children. When taught in their youth, kids would become more creative in their thinking. They were also able to solve problems when up against difficult life situations because of their higher advancement in intelligence.

These same parents were using printable brain teasers to help themselves, to help their brain from becoming monotonous and to boost the capacity and duration of their memories. Have you ever forgot where you parked your car, left your keys, or wonder what you went in the next room for? Of course you have! We all tend to get more rigid in our thinking as we grow older.

Printable Brain Teasers to Baffle and Stretch your Mind

I have searched the internet to find printable brain teasers that will keep your mind working harder than normal and keep it stimulated and functioning correctly.

These free printables will save you a whole lot of time and effort than if you were to create them on your own.

Most of them are fairly easy to do but all of them will test your mind differently and help keep your brain in tip-top shape!

KCC, The stereograms are my favorites. When I was in grade school I would spend time at the school library looking at stereograms instead of my homework and I have been addicted to them ever since. I'm glad you liked this hub and thanks KCC, thanks KCC, thanks KCC...LOL

Thanks for this hub, these brain teasers are going to keep me busy for a long time to come. And with an aging population, it is really important to keep your mind as active as possible. Whenever I see people over 100 being interviewed and asked what their secret is, invariably they will say that they have kept their mind occupied and never stopped learning.

What a great hub! I remember when the stereogram posters came out and I had the toughest time 'seeing' them. Then suddenly one day, I could see them and now it's a piece of cake. I had my doubts about seeing the one above on my computer screen, but I did. That's awesome!
