Give Your Dog-Loving Child the All New FurReal GoGo Pup

Updated on October 9, 2014

Last year, FurReal Friends proved to be one toy range that had been able to please its cute little customers to no end. 2014 is about to end, and Christmas is approaching. Seems like this time too, FurReal will be a big hit among children, especially due to its latest offering called the Get Up and GoGo My Walkin Pup.

If you have little boys or girls in your house, it is possible that they ask you to get them a dog on a frequent basis. The GoGo Pup has huge potential to earn nationwide popularity simply because gifting it can be an alternative to buying real puppy for your children. After all, gifting a real dog is not a great idea if your child is not big enough to handle the responsibilities that come with owning a doggy.

With this amazing toy dog, your child can begin to have fun right after opening the package and naming the new partner. The toy requires 4 AA batteries in order to operate, and as soon as the batteries are put and the toy is activated, adorable barking begins. Note that the AA batteries do not come with the package though, so you will have to buy those separately.

What makes this toy fun is the fact that it can be walked around using the leash, which features a remote that is built-in. Moreover, the barking noises sound extremely real! In addition, this toy is very active, not only in the offline world, but also when it comes to the online world.

It makes mark in the online world because there is an app named FurReal Friends especially designed to operate with it. Using the app, your child can prepare fake meals for the dog, or give the pet bubble baths. The app is supported by iOS, as well as Android, devices.

Just Clap Your Hands And Your GoGo Pup Will Start Walking

For those times when your child does not want to use the leash, simple clapping of the hands can compel this pet to start walking. The dog has the ability to move smoothly on a variety of surface types, including wood, carpet and tile.

What is even more interesting is that the toy features a battery-saving mechanism too. The mechanism works by turning the toy off whenever it is left abandoned for a while. So if your child does not remember to turn his lifelike companion off after playtime, waste of battery power will not be an issue.

Do you think your little one will love the FurReal Get Up and GoGo My Walkin Pup?

I think that these FurReal toys are such a good idea, especially if a parent isn't sure the child is ready for an actual pet. It' s like a life skills lesson and test before the real pet arrives.
