Even the bird is Hypnotized
Even the bird is Hypnotized

Media Madness

Hypnotized, the throngs,

no matter the rights or wrongs.

no limit belongs.

Mesmerized by lights,

the jousts, all seen as delights,

throughout all the nights.

Polarized by sound,

with their feet above the ground.

all seem heaven bound.

Burglarized by few,

The family thrown askew.

Times we all once knew.

I have watched some who did seem to be in a trance or hypnotized by these games. They seem to be addictive and in some cases it seems to be detrimental to the gamers and their social development. Thanks for your positive comments. whonu

Hypnotized is the most pronounced of all the thoughts in this poem. I have noticed this trance in most of the gamers. It can be fun, but you have to balance it out with real life.

I went through the video game stage, just like many others. Now I don't even own a TV. I don't have time for it.

Yep my pal. sad that parents turn their kids loose to be subjected to a few sick minds at times isn't it. (forgive my rants some times) whonu

I can so with all honesty that I have never been attracted to video games and never will be. There is too much of life to live, and I sure don't want to live in in front of a game console pretending to be living life. :)
