"Wake up John!"

He thought that his battles had come to a conclusion and having been stranded in the bitter icy cold wastes of deep space he had entered a deep cryonic sleep.

But Master Chief John-117 will be forced to wake up and face down an ancient evil that threatens the existence of the whole universe.

Will the delicate peace with the covenant be broken?

Will Master Chief get back to earth?

Perhaps Halo 4 will answer these questions but then again it may not.

"Wake up John!"

The Reclaimer Trilogy - The Evolution of Master Chief

Halo 4 is the next installment of the iconic Halo franchise that has defined the last ten years of gaming. It will be direct sequel to Halo 3 which ended with Master Chief and Cortana floating through space, left for dead by their allies, heading towards the Legendary "planet" covered in some form of technology.

Based on what is currently known, the popular conjecture is that this planet may be an artificially constructed shield world, that was designed to withstand the firing of the Halo rings. There are also those that believe that it may be a planetoid-class ship of Forerunner origin due to the various symbols littered over the surface. It seems that this "planet" contains machines of unknown origin (Prometheans with trade mark lethality?)

Halo 4 will be the first of a trilogy of three games that will be known as the "Reclaimer Trilogy" and over these three games, a story line has been put in place which will allow the character of Master Chief to transform and garner much greater depth.

Does the storyline develop from what 343 Guilty Spark says to Master Chief in Halo 3

"You are the child of my makers. Inheritors of all they left behind. You are the Forerunner"

But we also need to find out what will happen to Cortana? We know from the trailer that Cortana awakens Master Chief from his stasis in the cryo-chamber but at the end of Halo 3 she was already coming to the end of her normal life cycle. She is of course like no other AI before her but how will she handle her rampancy.
