Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance AR Cards
Overview
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is the new entry into the Kingdom Hearts franchise on the Nintendo 3DS. One of the new features in the series is the ability to bring a companion character, called a "Dream Eater", along with you into battle. Most of these Dream Eaters are acquired through regular play and will join you when certain conditions are met. Some, however, are received by using real life "AR Cards" to have them sent to your game. In America five AR cards were included with the special edition of the game as an incentive. One of those cards serves as a special stage that Dream Eaters can be positioned on to take pictures of (I have not included that card in the list below). The other four cards each offer a new Dream Eater for you to use in the game (one will give you a random creature from a set of three, the other cards have a set creature).
To get these cards into your game go to the Start Menu, and choose "Spirits". You can then hit the X button and select camera. Toggle the out-ward facing camera and point it at the cards (or computer screen) from about a foot away and the Dream Eater will join you. You can do so once for each card, but if your Dream Eater dies you can bring it back with the card.
