Workers need a chance to have fun too, and in LEGO City that fun comes from Drill Thrill challenges. Pop open a fuse box and hit a button for the chance to drill through bouncing concrete bricks and earn a Gold Brick prize. This article covers the locations of all seventeen Drill Thrill spots, and what you get for successfully completing all of the challenges.

Cherry Tree Hills

Atop the bluffs of Cherry Tree Hills are several ritzy mansions. The Drill Thrill challenge is accessed by catapulting off of one of these mansions (check the roof of the home closest to the Police Station) to a more mundane building nearby.

Auburn

Auburn's Drill Thrill awaits your drill atop Hank's gas station, not far from the Auburn Bay Bridge.

Fort Meadows

Roughly in the middle of Fort Meadows is a large, rickety shelter full of things to see and do. One among them is a Drill Thrill challenge.

Bluebell National Park

Near the entrance of Bluebell Mine is a small shack with the Bill Derby collectible on top. The fuse box for this Drill Thrill is on the side of the shack.

Festival Square

When you first visit Mercy Hearts Hospital you'll see a fuse box on one of the lower roofs. You can come back later to open it up and get a Drill Thrill challenge going.

Pagoda

You can use a zipline atop Chan's Limo Service to reach buildings on the opposite side of the street. On one of these roofs is a fuse box that will start the Drill Thrill.

Bright Lights Plaza

There are two buildings in the north of the Plaza, across from the theatre, that you can climb. There are a ton of things to do at the top, including a Drill Thrill.

Crescent Park

Along the Crescent Park and Bright Lights Plaza border is a stone wall. The fuse box is on the rear of this wall.

Uptown

Once you have access to helicopters, climb in one and use it to get to the top of the Museum. There's a Drill Thrill fuse box sitting in the open up here.

LEGO City Airport

If you climb on top of the main terminal of the Airport from the rear of the building you'll come to an intersection. To the left of this intersection is a Drill Thrill challenge.

Fresco

On the inner edges of Fresco you'll find a small alley between several buildings, not far from an ATM machine. You can climb up a pole near the ATM machine to reach the rooftops. The Drill Thrill is up here.

Paradise Sands

In the north of Paradise Sands is a large theme park called Orion. On the right side of the boardwalks is a fuse box to activate a Drill Thrill.

Kings Court

There's a small theatre along the edges of Kings Court with a drill point at its side. Use this to get to the roof where you'll find further opportunities to drill.

Downtown

This Drill Thrill is found on top of the LEGO City Bank. You need to climb the buildings across the square from the Bank to find a Chicken Glide point that will carry you to its roof.

Albatross Prison

After you can use teleporters (or have the Jet Pack) you can access the rear yard of Albatross Prison. On the right side of the rear yard is a low-set rooftop you can use to reach greater heights. Up here is a Drill Thrill challenge.

Apollo Island

Once you have all of your outfits, notably your Jet Pack, you can easily make your way to the top of the Space Centre to find a ton of different collectibles. Among them is a fuse box that will activate a Drill Thrill challenge.

Lady Liberty Island

Along the sidewalks surrounding the base of the statue is a pole. The fuse box for this final Drill Thrill is set into the base of the pole.

A job well done indeed. What do you get for your hard work? No less than the Rod Stanchion collectible, a very manly construction worker indeed.
