Classes/Username

When I started this game 6 or more months ago, I could only choose from Warrior (M/F) or Mage (M/F). Now LoA (League of Angels) has added one more class to the category which is Archer (M/F).

Warrior- High PATK (Physical Attack) and PDEF (Physical Defense). Dealing major damage to foes.

Mage- High MATK (Magical Attack) and MDEF (Magical Defense) against magic.

Archer- High Hit and Crit. Deals massive damage to foes.

Just like any game, you get the chance to type what name you want to be known as. Keep in mind that it has to be something that you're comfortable with because you wont be able to change it later.

My choice- Mage

So as I stated before when I joined the game, Archer was not one of my options to choose from. Nonetheless, it didn't stop me from trying out the game. I consider my options from warrior to mage and I ended up choosing mage. I like the idea of inflicting high magical attack while also having a magical defense.

Of course, I was a bit wary about my decision. Did I make the right decision? Was my mage character going to be a real badass? And most importantly, was she good enough to inflict damage to warriors?

I knew that my task at being great in the game was just beginning. As I spent more time on the game trying to develop my character, I notice that at a certain level (level 45) you get to decide what upgrade class of mage you want to be. Since I chose mage, my upgrade options were Sorcerer or Mythic.

Sorcerer:

HP - 2 stars

MATK - 5 stars

PDEF - 3 stars

AGILITY - 4 stars

Mystic:

HP - 3 stars

MATK - 4stars

PDEF - 3 stars

AGILITY - 5 stars

As you can see from the stat above, Sorcerer is made for inflicting high damage to an enemy but his HP is lower than mystic. Mystic is made to be more on the balance side. Mystic pays more attention to critical damages.

That being said, I went with Mystic.

Mythic/Skills

This is my mage character. A level 74 with a 1 million overall battle rating.

Gemology

I started by giving my character her basic need gems. MATK, MDEF, PDEF CRIT and HP. I kept her gems simple, Upgrading them to level as I got up on level and got a bit stronger. It wasn't till I hit level 70 that I decided to play around with my gems.

I notice that mostly everyone on my server was becoming tankers even if they weren't in the warrior class. So as I researched more information about gems (because lets face it. Everyone has flaws and mine is well, Gemology.) I notice that mostly all mages had some Dodge, Hit or Block gems in there equipment.

I decided to go drastic and take out Crit for Dodge and Hit. Doing that, boost my BR 289-306 or so. It wasn't such a great boost but the results were effective. I dodge most of my opponent hits and also manage to hit my opponent even though he/she maybe a full blown dodger.

Gemology/Forge

This is a must, if you want to get and synth gems.

Party Members

Now, we can't forget about the other heroes that help you fight. LoA gives you a variety of heroes to select from the Tavern. But as always, Tavern sections unlock as you level up. The higher the level the better hero you can recruit.

Dawn Tavern unlocks at level 10.

Twilight Tavern unlocks at level 40.

And Midnight Tavern unlocks at level 61.

Once you reach level 61, you also get access to Enigma Tavern (these are heroes that you'll have to spend money on. )

Also, On each level you'll get to rebirth your hero. 55,60,65,70,75 & 80 are your chances to rebirth your heroes. You'll lose BR but your hero will gain much greater stat by doing so. I suggest to rebirth your hero as soon as you can.

Now, heroes on Enigma Tavern are somewhat expensive to get $20-$50 or so. Enigma has the best heroes that LoA has to offer. But in order to get them, LoA made an even that comes on every 2 or 3 weeks. The event is House of Cards. The objective of HoC is to get enough points to get Joker cards. Once you have your Joker(s), You can pick the heroes that the event is offering. Keep in mind that with LoA has now expanded it selections on Enigma heroes,so it most likely the hero you want might not be available on this event but it'll be available on the next House of Cards event.

Tavern

As you level you'll unlock more heroes to get from the tavern. Each hero has his/her significant other that trigger a partner skill in battles.

Angels

The point of this game is to help the Angels fight evil, Of course, they'll help you on that mission. You get a variety of angels, some stronger than others. Angel tears are use to max the angel up to their level.

LoA gives you many options once you have maxed your angel in level. Evolve helps your angel get stronger. The higher it is the greater the stat and the stronger it is. Zodiac also help you angel attack first in battle. That is always a plus if you want to get ahead in the game.

Nyssa

This is my current angel. She is evolved to 8 stars which is unearthly (9 stars would be ungodly which is the strongest in evolve) Her max level is 70.

Mounts

Mounts are very important, just like everything else on this game. I personally think that you should spend more time training your mount than heroes. Why? Well it simple. Your mount is your character. If your mount is weak, so is your character. In games like this, it is always good to make yourself stronger. You don't want your heroes to out live you, do you?

Mounts

Each mount has different abilities. This bunny (or as I call it, Thumper) give me 5% Dodge. Changing mounts wont make you lose BR. It add stat and boost BR.

Dragon Souls

Dragon Souls are just like Gemology, but a bit different. Each character has a different ability. For Mage, is the chance to be resurrected from the dead. For warriors, is the chance to block enemies hits. And for Archers is the chance to to gain an invisible shield.

The ability that the dragon souls give is always good to have, especially in PvP battles. It is always good to get them higher for better chance at them triggering.

Dragon Souls

As a Mythic, I get a 35% chance to be resurrected with a 35% HP.

Conclusion

This was my basic breakdown into the Mystic/LoA world. Overall, the game is good and of course, it going to have a few flaws. I do recommend to this game if you're looking to play something in the mmorpg fantasy range. But like everything else, if you want the best stuff make sure you're ready to spend money on it.
