League of legend - Strategy guide for Ryze

Story and Lore

Ryze has never been a typical student in the halls of magic, instead he felt a more raw and primal connection to the magics of Runeterra then those who tried to teach him. When he was aa young man he traveled the world to seek out the wisdoms of powerful hermits, witches and shamans. When he had learned all there was to be learned he sought out an ancient magic known as thorn magic. This required him to tatoo the spells on his body, infusing his being with vast arcane power. His journey also lead him to come across a giant indestructible scroll that he carries on his back. Ryze now joins the league of legends to study the magical creatures and powerful will-workers that fight there to fulfill his exploration of Runeterra.


Arcane Mastery - When Ryze casts a spell, all other spells have their cooldown reduced by 1 second.

This is a great ability as ryze is a pure caster and spell cooldowns are relatively quick anyways. Combine this with blessing of the elder lizards and your on a casting frenzy.

Overload - Ryze throws out a charge of pure energy at an enemy unit for for heavy damage and additional damage based upon Ryze's current mana.

The spell damage goes as follows: 

Level 1 - 70 +10% max mana in damage/50 Mana/11 sec cooldown 

Level 2 - 105 +10% max mana/65 mana/11 sec cooldown 

Level 3 - 140 +10% max mana/80 mana/11 sec cooldown 

Level 4 - 175 +10% max mana/95 mana/11 sec cooldown  

Level 5 - 210 +10% max mana/110 mana/11 sec cooldown  

Rune Prison - Ryze traps the target enemy unit in a cage of runes, preventing them from moving or attacking, dealing damage for the duration.

Level 1 - 40 damage for .8 secs/80 mana/14 sec cooldown/600 range

Level 2 - 40 damage for 1.2 secs/95 mana/14 sec cooldown/600 range

Level 3 - 40 damage for 1.6 secs/110 mana/14 sec cooldown//600 range

Level 4 - 40 damage for 2.0 secs/125 mana/14 sec cooldown/600 range

Level 5 - 40 damage for 2.4 secs/140 mana/14 sec cooldown/600 range

Spell Flux - Ryze releases an orb of pure magical power which bounces from the initial target up to 6 times. Any enemy target struck is dealt heavy damage. 

Level 1 - 50 damage/60 mana/9 sec cooldown/700 range

Level 2 - 70 damage/80 mana/9 sec cooldown/700 range

Level 3 - 90 damage/100 mana/9 sec cooldown/700 range 

Level 4 - 110 damage/120 mana/9sec cooldown/700 range

Level 5 - 130 damage/140 mana/9sec cooldown/700 range

Desperate Power - Ryze channels forbidden uncontrolled arcane power, granting him bonus Ability Power, and causing all of his spells to deal AoE damage.

Level 1 - 60 ability power/No mana/60 sec cooldown/8 seconds/65% AoE

Level 2 - 100 ability power/No mana/60 sec cooldown/8secs/65% AoE

Level 3 - 140 ability power/No mana/60 sec cooldown/8secs/65% AoE

This is an awesome ability that can be used very often due to the low cooldown. Use this ability immediately before unleashing the rest of the arsenal.
