Lego Indiana Jones 2 Walkthrough 6: Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Part 3, The Treasure Chest Levels
Welcome to the Walkthrough for Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues.
This guide is in thirteen posts, with two posts for the six parts of the game, and then one more post for the Bonus Levels. If you need to jump to another post sometime, you can do so here.
For each level, I will first discuss the first five levels of the hub, and then discuss the Treasure Chest Levels of that Hub.
It is in the Treasure Chest level where you can learn the location of the Red Bricks, Blue Bricks, Green Bricks, plus all the Characters and Vehicles.
Creator Level not covered (yet!)
This will end the level, and you can start on the Treasure Chest Levels.
You will default back to the beginning of the level. The first entrance where you faced the first mission can’t be done as yet, as you probably don’t have the character to complete it. Nothing here to do but smash stuff, and use Oxley’s Crystal Skull to smash stuff in the midst of ants. There is a plant with a whip knob on it, and if you use it, you will find the First Red Brick.
Instead, take the entrance to the second mission level.
This is one of those levels where you have to get ten balloons, like (name the one after it.) This level is Riverside Rush, and it doesn’t matter what character you are.
The First Balloon is right on the path underneath a waterfall. Go get a vehicle and get it.
The Second Balloon is in the water in front of the waterfall. Go on and get the boat car and get that. You will need to do a jump move in order for that.
Remember that path that you were on to get to the first balloon? Keep following that path all around the edge of the level, and you will come to another waterfall. The Third Balloon is underneath that.
As for the Fourth Balloon, just drive off the path underneath the waterfall and there it is.
Keep following the river on a boat car, and the Fifth Balloon will be right there.
You will then come to a log that serves as a bridge over the river, and there will be the Sixth Balloon.
Keep following the river after the bridge, and there will be the Seventh Balloon at the end of it. This is difficult to get with the Boat Car, but keep trying with some jumps.
If you go on the players’ right at the log, you can follow the road until you get to the edge of a cliff. The Eighth Balloon is right there.
After the cliff, there is a road that goes all the way around the level that you should be taking. Near the edge is the Ninth Balloon.
Keep gong around the road, and you will pass the level where you entered. Keep following the road until it veers off into a cliff. Keep going to the edge and the Tenth Balloon will be waiting for you.
The Treasure Chest will be waiting for you by the entrance. But don’t be in a hurry to get it. Start getting all the studs to make True Adventurer.
Back to the Hub
This will start you off in the river, so you might as well follow the current all the way down to the open-mouthed skull. Don’t go in the skull just yet, but rather, go across the way where there will be a circular area with four square pillars. You will be attacked by Ugha warriors, so you might as well buy the Ugha Warrior character for 20,000 studs. Go ahead and get the Ugha Warrior here, as I will explain later.
The First Green Brick will be here.
Speaking of green, you can also buy the Green Motorbike for 15,000 sutds.
Also around this area is the Second Red Brick.
Don’t go up the path just yet. Instead, go down the path. You will find a place where Marion needs to jump to get to a ledge, and pull a lever, a door to another level called Treasure Room will open.
This level automatically defaults to Indy and the Ugha Assassin. There are two targets on the opposite wall that are blocked by waving buzzsaws. Each target will open up its respective gate.
Although this level could be solved either way, you can go to the right. Take out the bad guy in the room and smash everything. You will see a shovel, so have one of the characters smash it and go to the place where the level started. There is a waterbottle there, so make trips to extinguish the fire on the other side of that area. Have the Ugha Assassin shoot the target, and a platform will drop down. You can then jump to the vine and the other side to cross over, and jump up to the lever. Pulling the lever will cause a ramp to come up in the central room, and this is the first step to defeating this level.
The second step is going to the room to the left, and take out the bad guy here. There is another bad guy further way, and the Ugha Assassin should target him and take him out.
Get a shovel from the other room if you don’t have one, and dig up the tiles. Push a box to the end of it, and stand on it to make a jump to a nearby hanging rope. The rope will take you to the other side, where you must turn a crank. This will make an elevator which will take you to the top for the Treasure Chest in the Center room. It is worth it to get it.
Hopefully, the purple stud at the top is enough to get you to True Adventurer Level.
Back to the Hub
Now that you’re through with this, you can buy the Jungle Jeep for 30,000 studs. I wouldn’t race it just yet.
In the meantime, keep going right until you get to the spinning flower. It will propel you up, where you can smash something and rebuild it into a statue. Smash the statue, and you will have the Second Green Brick.
You might jump down and buy the UFO Ride for 250,000 studs. Take it up and go through its little race. Beating this race will open up the Interdimensional Being for 1,500,000 studs, which is a whole bunch, I admit it.
Keep going right and you’ll come to a toolbox. Put the toolbox on a green pad nearby, and you can build a ladder. Have Indy climb up the ladder, and there will be a whip-knob flower to give you the Third Red Brick. Keep going there, and you will find a pot with the First Blue Brick.
Okay, it is time to go for a swim. Make sure that you are Marion and the Ugha Warrior (spear guy) and go as far south in the game and swim to the left. Eventually, you will come to an area where there is a ladder, and you will need to climb it and keep going up here until you reach a statue head. Your spear guy can do a jump to a dock below, and then throw two spears on two specifically marked targets. Marion needs to jump to these targets and enter into the level Cave Capers.
The game will default you as Indy and the Soldier. Smash stuff here and the proceed to the left to swing across via whips. Beat up the bad guys and anything else here. Once it is all clear, turn the crank, which will cause a platform to come up.
Use the case of waterbottles to extinguish fires that are above you. Go to the platform and use the waterbottles to eliminate the fires above you there as well. The last fires located all the way to the right need to be eliminated.
Indy can then use the two whip knobs to get over, and eliminate the bad guys up the stairs. You should probably use the case of waterbottles to eliminate the fires nearby.
He can then turn a crank which will allow his friend to enter. He can then fire his gun at a target, which will open a gate. One of them can then go over and grab the torch nearby. Watch out for that rising and falling platform!
Once the torch is grabbed, go and light the dynamite at the top of the stairs. You should not be too close to it, but close enough to get all the studs that will appear after the explosion. There are two buttons here, so make certain both characters are stepping on them at the same time.
This will cause some platforms to start moving. Go ahead and leap from one to the other. If you were smart, you should have eliminated the flames from below, but if not, there are waterbottles there for it. You’ll see what I’m talking about if you didn’t do this.
Go on and get to the Treasure Chest, and end the level. I found this one hard to become True Adventurer, but there is a purple stud close to the Treasure Chest that might tip the scales in your favor.
Back to the Hub
After this level is finished, you should get Indy and get to the area close to the entrance. Indy needs to climb that one ladder and use his whip on a whip-knob to get the Fourth Red Brick. You should also go up to a statue head and get the Third Green Brick.
Nothing to do now but get back to shore. You should get to the Boat Car and go through the race. It will take you across two precarious bridges. When you finish this race, you will be awarded with the Russian Officer that you can buy for 30,000 studs.
Become the Russian Officer and go get the Ugha Warrior. You should go into the mouth of the skull and go up to the pyramid. You will see a character in pieces. Put this one together and get Agent Spalko. She costs a cool million studs, so I hope that you have saved your money.
Now, you can wait here at the pyramid, and Ugha Assassins will show up and try to kill you. You can also take them out and purchase the Ugha Assassin character for 30,000.
By the way, off to the side and to the right is a ledge which will have a pot which is the Second Blue Brick.
There is a weird piece of statue just laying on the ground close by. Oxley can pick it up, and he can carry it up the stairs. Since he has the Crystal skull, the ants will avoid him. He can then put it in the right place, and a pot will be revealed. These pots is how the blue bricks come in, and here is the Third Blue Brick.
There is a Skull Head Statue in the corner, which contains the Fourth Green Brick. All the green bricks on this level come in that form.
Now, go up to the top of the Pyramid and have the Ugha Warrior use his spears in two places. Then a lady character (like Marion or Agent Spalko) can use the spears to leap to the top of the pillar, and then leap to the section of the pyramid with a pot on top. Break the pot and get the Fourth Blue Brick. Then dive in the Pyramid itself and face the Pit of Peril level.
Pit of Peril
You have to be the Russian Officer and the Ugha Warrior to face this level. The Ugha Warrior should target a spear area down and to the left, as well as two targets above him. The Russian Officer can blow up something to his immediate up and right, and the Ugha Warrior can get himself up to this spot by climbing the spears. There is a button here, and stepping on it causes the waters to drop down.
From there, the spear guy can jump in the water, and swim to the other side. There is a hole that can needs to speared, and then the Russian must take his place. The Russian has to blow the metal off this one area nearby, and then he or the Warrior must stand on the button.
From here, the Ugha Warrior can spear another hole, and swim down and collect some studs. The Russian Soldier must then swim to another side of the room and use the spears to pull himself up to where he can blow the cover of a button off. He can then stand on it, and the water completely is depleted.
Nothing left to do but dive in and find the purple studs so you can become a True Adventurer. Get the Treasure Chest and end the level.
Back to the Hub
Once you leave this level, turn into the Russian Soldier and Indy and get ready for the Tie Up High Up level.
Tie Up High Up
You have to be the Russian Soldier and Indy for this level. Start by blowing off the weird things that are on the buttons here. Now, you will notice four buttons here, but only two of you.
Go ahead and head down below, and smash everything you can to get True Adventurer level. It is actually quite easy here.
Once you have cleared the way from all studs, you must use your whip on an Ugha and drag him up to the top. You can carry the tied up Ugha to the top and place him on the a red button, and it will be green. Go and get another Ugha and put him on the button. This will cause the Treasure Chest to drop off, and you can grab it and end the level.
Back to the Hub
While you are here, there is a skull on a post with a letter “W” over it. When you hit this, it will turn around, and do a big camera pan and show you all the others. You mission, should you choose to accept it, is to destroy all of the W things there. The game will show you where all of them are, but honestly, don’t try to get them in the order shown, it doesn’t work, really.
Instead, leave the cave, and get the one outside there. Keep running to the left, then kill the one as you pass by. Run to the right until you can’t any more, and use the ladder. Kill the one there, and then jump up to the rope to kill the next one. Use the rope to kill another, and then jump to kill the last one. This will reveal the Ugha Digger, who you can buy for 15,000 studs.
Now that you are done, go ahead and become a duo of a shooting character (like Mac) and Agent Spalko. Go to the skull entrance, and climb up to where the third main level was. This will begin the Trick or Treasure Level.
Trick or Treasure
You will have to be Agent Spilko plus a shooting character here. In this room, you will need to uncover 1/5 Gems here to beat it. Start by going forward, and you will see a huge box. Have the shooter hit the target, and it will break open. This is Gem 1/5.
There are two boxes where you are. Agent Spilko’s sword can cut the tops of them, and the weight will come down and they will burst open. The one on the right contains a bad guy that has to be taken out, and the one on the left contains Gem 2/5.
Go to the right, and you will find another box on the spike trap. Open it with the shooter hitting the target, and there will be a man inside that you must beat.
Keep going right, and Spilko will need to cut a weight to open another box. Once again, another bad guy.
More off to the right is another box, with a target. Shoot it, and a bad guy will come out, who will throw spears at you. The only way to defeat him is to throw a spear at him. I believe the wall is lined with spears, or you could just use his own spears back at him. Either way, you got to get rid of him, and spears are the only way.
The next one over the right has Gem 3/5, that is good news.
This is not the case for the next one over. Another spear-happy man that must be speared like Britney. Get it, Britney Spears? Anyway, the last box has to be shot open and there is an easily dispatchable guy on it.
Now, go all they way over to the left, and take out the first box you see. It has Gem 4/5. Nice.
Keep going left, and the next one over has a man in it. Take care of him.
As you keep going left, there are three boxes left. Shoot the one with the target on it, and Gem 5/5 will be revealed.
(Note: I have no idea if these Gems change order at random with each different game.)
The Treasure Chest will appear before the level ends, and once you get it, the level ends.
Back to the Hub
After that is done, why not take the Agent Spilko and have some fun. Go to where the digger is and get Indy involved too. Go up to where Indy needs to grab a whip-knob and place it by a pot. When he whips it, he can get the Fifth Blue Brick.
Keep going up, and Indy can get the Fifth Green Brick as well as the Sixth Blue Brick.
There is a plant there that will reveal the Fifth Red Brick.
The Blue Motorcycle can be purchased here for 15,000 studs.
Keep going and you can bash the statue for the Sixth Green Brick.
You can buy the Civilian Jeep for 20,000 studs.
In the middle of this circular area with the pillars is the Seventh Green Brick. Follow the path past the big UFO to the river and find the Eighth Green Brick.
Keep going, and you’ll come to a whip knob flower for the Sixth Red Brick.
Follow that path along the river and there will be a statue. Use the key on the statue and you will find the Seventh Blue Brick.
Follow the river with its green circular lily pads. There will be a whip knob flower on the coastline. This will be the Seventh Red Brick.
There is an island here that has the Ninth Green Brick on it. Better get it.
There is also this crane thing that is going into the water itself. If you smack one end, it will turn a crank, and haul a pot from the water. This is the Eighth Blue Brick.
You will note that this island has a place on it that a female character can jump to. Go ahead and get a female character up there, and grab a statue. Fit that statue piece in the right place and a door will open. This is the Lake Crypt Level.
You will be defaulted as Indy and Mac. You should get the studs, especially the ones behind the buzzsaws that go up and down.
Mac then needs to shoot a target which will start a series of elevating platforms. Use the platforms to cross to a rock, and then the moving platform. Eventually, you will be on a piece of land that allows you to jump to a vine to get to higher ground. There is a bad guy here, and you are to grab a spear. You should probably have both characters grab a spear.
From there, go back to that piece of land in the corner. There is a native there, so have Ma shoot him. You can then jump to the bar and pull a lever, which will cause a platform to rise and fall.
Swim to this new platform, in order that it can take you to the top. Throw your spears at the targeted area. There are two targets, and this will enable you to get to higher ground. On the right is something that will allow you to get more coins, but on the left is more.
Take out the bad guy here, and then have Indy use his whip to get a shovel. He can then dig by the tiles, and make a smooth path to push the box. From there, it is a quick jump to get the Treasure Chest.
I found that I barely was able to make True Adventurer on this, but I did make it.
Back to the Hub
Now that you have done this, go all the way to the right. You will see a gray square box with a skull on the cover. Bash this thing, and a pot will fall off. In the pot is the Ninth Blue Brick.
If you let the river take you, then you will go into the falls where the UFO Ride was purchased.
Go get agent Spalko and the Ugha Digger and go to where the raft is hanging. Agent Spilko can cut the raft down, and the digger can row it using his shovel. You can then row it down a river and beat the race. When the race is won, you will get the Ugha King, which you can buy for 25,000 studs.
Now, Indy and the Digger can take a new way. Go up the path against the current of the river, and take the first bridge you see, to the right of it is a whip-flower that will have the Eighth Red Brick. In this general area is a statue with the Tenth Green Brick.
From there, Indy can jump up to the section of land in between two bridges. He can use his whip on a Whip-Flower and get the Ninth Red Brick.
You will notice the circular area of dirt. This is where the Digger can dig, and open up the Digger’s DelightLevel.
This level defaults you to Indy and Mutt. You will need to collect studs and grab a shovel. Dig up those spots, and you will find materials for building a ladder.
Climb up to a higher place. You will then need to jump down and deal with some bad guys. You may notice one gunman from on high that you can’t reach. However, Indy can use his whip to tie him up. You can then use the shovel you got to dig up a Treasure Chest, which conveniently has a key. This will start a buzzsaw that will knock that pesky soldier off.
From here, you will want to grab the bottled water and extinguish the flames all the way over to the right. You will then want to use the whip-knob and cause the platform to move. Mutt needs to jump on the railing above where the whip-knob was, and jump to the moving platform. He then must fix an engine on the other side. This will start an elevating platform that will be needed later.
You should then have a character grab a spear, go to where the elevating platform is, and hit one of the targets on the wall. This will eventually lead to the treasure chest, and if you had another spear, you could get to it. However, it won’t be that easy.
Take the elevator up, and then go down to the one area with the bad guys. There is a red crank that must be turned to raise up an elevator. Once the bad guys are taken care of, use the whip knob on the wall. This will turn flat areas into ramps. Dig up a treasure chest that has studs and a torch in it. Use the torch to light some dynamite in the corner, and get out of the way before it blows. This will reveal a bicycle.
You should have noted that all the plants need to be bashed in, and this will reveal a spear. It should be taken, and then get on the bike and go to an orange pressure pad. This is harder than it looks. You actually have to go down the ramp, gain speed, and then you’ll get up. It takes a little while, but it works. This will reveal an elevated platform.
Take the platform to the first area, and target the second spear target. You can now get to the top, grab the Treasure chest, and end the level.
Back to the Hub
You might as well go down and do the Jungle Jeep race. You can get the jeep up on an orange pressure pad that will unlock a gate to some levels you haven’t beaten yet. Also, this will unlock the Russian Machine Gunner and Ice Cream Van, which you can buy for 20,000 and 30,000 studs, respectively.
Also, up here is a whip flower that Indy needs to take out for the Tenth Red Brick.
There is an orange pressure pad that you can put the Jungle Jeep on it. This will get you to the first part of the level.
One level requires you to slide down a rope to get to the entrance. You need to have the Ugha Warrior and Agent Spalkto get there. He will throw the spears on the skull at the sides of the entrance, and then you will have to jump and grab the spear to unlock it. Before you go to the level, go to the left and jump on some trapezes and smash a pot that will reveal the Tenth Blue Brick. This will parachute a parcel of Fearless. I believe that makes all the characters with phobias not fear what they normally would.
Take the entrance to this level, known as Jungle Jinx.
You will default to Agent Spilko and Indy on this level. Start by having Indy smash stuff and then build up some tiles. The Agent Spilko can use her sword to cut a weight off of a rope. This will drop a platform lower, and Agent Spalko, who is a high jumper, can jump to the top and push a box down.
Indy can jump to the top of the box and use his whip to cross over to the other side. Defeat the bad guys, and turn a crank so that Agent Spalko can cross over on an elevated platform. There is even a blue stud that she can get. Now, one of the characters needs to grab the spears and hit the spear targets.
Agent Spalko can then use the spears as trapezes and cross to the other side. There is a purple stud that she can grab, and a crank a crank to make a bridge for Indy to cross.
Indy then needs to cross over the area by using his whip on the flying whip knobs. When Indy crosses over, he can pull a lever that will start a platform moving. Switch to agent Spalko, and have her cross over to an elevating platform. She can then grab a shovel, and drop down to the left to dig up pieces of a ladder. Assemble the ladder, and then get Indy back to that side to climb it.
There are two buttons that have to be pushed at the same time. This will reveal the Treasure Chest, and you can get it to end the level.
Back to the Hub
Once you’ve left this level, switch to Indy and Agent Spalko. Go up to the entrance where you faced the first level. This will be the Campfire Countdown level.
In this level, it is all about lighting fires. The first one is a torch just hanging on the wall, and the kindling right there. That is Fire 1/10.
There is a torch located at the bottom of a big rock, and Agent Spalko can grab it. She can then take the torch and jump to a bar on the rock, then to the top of the rock itself. She can light the fire for Fire 2/10.
Near here is a pile of rocks. Destroy them, and you can build the kindling for a fire. Then you can use a nearby torch to light it for Fire 3/10.
Go all the way and to the left. You will see a whip knob on a big rock. Use the whip on it, and build it into a stepping stone for Agent Spalko. There is a torch in the cave that can light some kindling in front of it for Fire 4/10. Agent Spalko can then use the torch near that fire, and jump to the top to light Fire 5/10.
From there, Agent Spalko needs to jump across the bridge that is out. She can then extend the bridge by using the key that is already there.
Indy needs to get a shovel that is nearby by using his whip to reel it in. There is a place to dig up something nearby, and Indy can use the shovel to get kindling, and then light it with the nearest torch. This is Fire 6/10.
There is a thing with a weight on it, which means that Spalko must cut it with her sword. She then needs to grab a torch and jump up, and there is a pile of kindling to set fire to for Fire 7/10.
She needs to continue to grab a torch near a bridge. The wooden bridge will go out, so she will need to jump over to the kindling on the other side of it. This is Fire 8/10.
Have one of the characters grab a toolbox and cross over the bridge, then plant it in the green area. This can be built into kindling, and there is a torch on the bridge which can be used to light Fire 9/10.
The last fire is on that side, and Indy will need his shovel to dig up the kindling. The nearby torch will light Fire 10/10. This immediately gives the last Treasure Chest, which will end the level.
Back to the Hub
Nothing left to do but put the UFO together with the gold treasure chests and blast off in the Super Bonus level.

Don’t forget, to get a 100% percent complete, you will have to have all Red Bricks, Blue Bricks, Characters, Vechicles, and beat the Super Bonus Level.
