Lego Minifigures Collector Game App For iPhone - Tips & Series Cheats

Updated on March 21, 2011

The Lego Minifigures Collector iPhone app game is the latest release from Lego. If you want lego minifigures app tips and help on how to collect the full lego minifigures set then you are in the right place. Here we will review the iPhone app and see if there are any tips or even cheats for the game. Basically this article will tell you all you need to know about the new Lego Minifigures Collector app.

This app is currently a free download from the app store and it is a very popular one as well. Although the game is pretty simple it will keep you occupied for a while and it is a good way of familiarising yourself with the Lego Minifigures. If you are a fan of Lego and enjoy the minifigures then chances are you will enjoy playing this little app.

Lego Minifigures Collector

If you are not familiar with Lego Minifigures, they are basically a collection of small lego men. There are currently three series of lego minifigures. In this game app they only feature Lego minifigures series 2 and Lego minifigures series 3. For some reason they have not bothered with series 1. Lego are planning to release series 4 of the popular figures in this coming April.

The Lego Minifigures have sold very well for Lego and they have been very popular. Each series has a set of 16 Lego men and the idea is that you collect the full set. You buy the minifigures in mystery bags which are sealed so you have no idea which figure you are buying. Then the idea is you swap them with your friends to collect the full set. There was some issues with series 1 & 2 as it was discovered that you could read the barcodes on the packets to discover which character was inside. Lego changed the packets for series 3 so this was no longer an issue.

The iPhone App

The iPhone app that Lego have brought out for the Lego Minifigures is pretty basic. When you open it up you are given a choice of which series you would like to play, you can play either series 2 or series 3. When you select your series you are taken to a board with 16 Lego characters. They are all blacked out at first, so you need to win the figures to light them up.

Now you enter game play mode. The game is pretty easy, it just three sections of a lego man. Head, upper body and legs. You slide across the tab at the bottom of the page and then Lego bits start to spin. Basically all you need to do is match the three bits of character up. When you succeed in this you are awarded that Lego character that you have matched up. Then you can view the bio of that character and see a picture of them. When you go back to the character board that character will now be lit up.

Tips & Cheats

Usually when I write an article like this I try to give you a few tips on how to play the game. To be honest though when it comes to Lego Minifigures Collector tips there is really not much I can say. The game is pretty much all luck. On average I would say for every ten spins of the tab you will pick up a new character, but really it’s just down to patience and persistence.

If you are looking for cheats for the Lego Minifigures Collector app then you will find that currently there are none. The game does not really take that long to finish and as I said it’s really just about patience. So for the moment there are no cheats available for this game.

Overall I would have to say the Lego Minifigures game app for the iPhone is nothing too special. The graphics are fun and it’s a good way to familiarise yourself with all the characters from series 2 and 3. If you do like Lego and are into the minifigures then you will probably enjoy this one, however there is only so much you can do on the game so you will probably soon tire of it. But for a free download you can’t really complain.
