Magic: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013: Say Your Praetors (Green) Challenge Solution

Updated on June 25, 2013

Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers has become an annual release on XBox Live Arcade, Playstation Network and Steam for fans of Magic. 2013 is the newest iteration of the series, and was the first time the series was released for the iPad as well. One of the popular features of the games has been a series of challenges pitting the player in a pre-designed situation that he/she must figure out how to overcome and achieve victory from the jaws of defeat. In 2013 10 new challenges await to be uncovered...

The sixth challenge is Say Your Praetors. Your opponent controls Five Praetors and you control just one blocker. There are five different ways to win this challenge -- one for each Praetor. In this case you will stand against the Green Praetor, Vorinclex.

Step 1: Jace will attack with everything, block Vorinclex with Baneslayer Angel

Step 2: Cast Brute Force and Giant Growth on Baneslayer Angel to make her a 9/9, which will kill Vorinclex. You will be left with 8 life after all damage has been dealt.

Step 3: Jace will cast Thought Scour, hit "Stop the Timer" and cast Parallectric Feedback. This will put Jace at 3 life.

Step 4: On your turn sacrifice Baneslayer Angel to Sheoldred's ability.

Step 5: Cast Sizzle (which you just drew) to win.
